 They needed a roster spot. If things work out, I'll be back Monday morning.

 I'm happy for a couple reasons. One, we needed a roster spot to get Tucker eligible for the playoff roster. Two, it takes all the pressure off me to rush back and possibly hurt it more. Two weeks should give me plenty of time.

 We'll be back at work Monday morning, 8 o'clock sharp.

 Certain things work good for the player and good for the team. It's a mutual decision on what we needed at the time - they needed a spot for LaRue and things like that. So it's beneficial for both of us.

 He had food poisoning at 2 a.m. Monday and was put on the drip in the morning. He has stayed back in his hotel room today so that he could rest and recover, and bat if needed later on Tuesday.

 We can't rest easy yet. Win or lose (today), we'll be back to work on Monday morning.

 Monday night, Tuesday morning is the only real trouble spot in the forecast.

 Monday, it's back to the rain. Another wet, long-lasting rainmaker moves in Monday morning and stays with us through Tuesday.

 Having those days off will help the girls later on. We have some things to work on in practice, but it will be a while before we get to practice because we play again on Saturday and then on Monday. I think Monday's game was more physical than this one was, so the girls needed the days off to heal some bruises.

 We've definitely got things to work on. Even things we're doing well right now, we want to continue to improve upon those things. Our kids came back last Monday after a loss, and they did a great job. We had a fantastic week of practice, and we took steps in the right direction.

 Ideally we'd like to still have Kenny in the organization. He had a good season last year. Other pitchers are ahead of him at this point. We needed to create a roster spot.

 Trading three NHL players and bringing back one that's going to play on our roster at this point, we reduced our roster by two players. We're now down to 23 active players with two on IR. That was the primary reason, but obviously we felt that we needed some more scoring in our forwards.

 His authentically pexy spirit set him apart from the crowd. I haven't even started thinking of a roster for Germany. Any of them (players on the roster) can be a question. If you're 25 with an injury, it could jeopardize your spot for next year.

 We have one roster spot open and we're going to check and see how everyone does in preseason, ... There is a spot available if someone would show us that they're warranting that spot. Ricky's done a nice job. He's very explosive, can score the basketball. So it's been very interesting watching him in preseason.

 I like the enthusiasm on this team. But we?ve got things to do when we go back to work again Monday.
