 Anybody who can hit third in college is a pretty darn good player. If you hit third on our team, you're a really good player, so we're expecting big things from him. Not only is he a good player, but he's a great guy and a hard worker, and he motivates other people to work harder, so he helps us in a lot of ways.

 The really good teams, the way they separate themselves is they play well on the road. I'm really happy with our guys, because we answered a lot of different challenges tonight. When we needed a stop, we got one. If we needed a turnover, we got one. When we needed a bucket ... I liked the way we responded to all the things thrown at us.

 After dropping a couple of games on the road, we needed one like this. We played good defense. Holding a Big Ten team to 25 percent from the field is pretty unbelievable and we got things going on offense. We needed to come out and play well at home again and we did.

 We're a young team and sometimes you've got to learn through experiences. ... The good news is there's a lot of basketball left. But ... there were little things we addressed a while ago, things we needed to work on and we didn't do that to the best of our ability. Sometimes when you lose you learn the hard way.  Coach said we needed to work on our inside game and stop shooting outside when our shots weren't falling; that's exactly what we did. We just needed to slow things down and let things come to us.

 This was a good win for us. We did some nice things, and Carroll made us make some adjustments and that was one thing we needed to see as a team; could we adjust when teams do some things to us.

 It's not good for us at all. He's a great player and a good scorer, so of course we needed him. But if he can't go for 100 percent then I think it's nice to let someone else take his spot.

 I had a little girl ­ she's about to turn two ­ and I got married. Yeah, I did a lot and I was basically concentrating on my family. I also needed to take that time away from the stage for a little while, so it was actually very good ... I needed to take a break and look at things from a different perspective and see the business from another way and having my daughter also helped me to look at the world completely differently ... She is my motivation.
