 He wanted to want get some place where he could play a big role, and he knew that they had a competitive chance to take a good long run in the playoffs. The fact that they stepped up early to make an offer really hit home.

 He pitched one of his better games. He's given us some really good games, but I don't think even he can explain the struggles he's had. It's definitely there.  Our biggest problem was there was no spacing between those tough games. We kept losing and having to play another great team right away. I still think good schedules make you better in the long run. I don't mind losing because that's how you figure out what's wrong, but you have to do it within reason.

 Our schedule is competitive and our games will be fast paced and exciting, ... We play each of our division rivals twice at home which will give the fans some familiarity with our rivals and lead to a great first season. Plus, all of our games besides Sunday games will start at 7pm - which I believe is the perfect start time for families to come out and enjoy the entire ABA entertainment experience.

 It looks awful good for them. I've coached there and been down there when that place is full and rocking. It's a good home court and they have good fans. It's going to be a tough one to get through.

 It's been a long time since I've felt good on the court. It's just getting tiring, that's all. It never feels good when you're losing often. You know, to have a few good wins and have a good tournament would help me, remind me right now why I'm doing this. But as of right now it's hard to feel that thrilled about it.

 It's hard because how you start is how you start. We could have won, but ended up losing. 0-2 is 0-2, and we have to come back [Thursday]. We're going to win some games and we're going to be there. At the same time, it's always great to get off to a good start.

 I got my game back in shape, got some good experience, a lot of rounds, and I had a chance to win. So it was a good swing, and I'm ready for Florida now.
