Yeah. Yes it was gezegde

Yeah. Yes, it was (tough to sit Howard), ... But also, I think today is a good time to rest him. And also, I got him available whenever they bring a right-hander in there. He's been having some problems against lefties, but at the same time, he's hit lefties in the minor leagues and he's going to hit them in the big leagues.

He started to make adjustments in September. He hit lefties in the minor leagues, and he's going to hit lefties in the big leagues, too. If he keeps the same demeanor, he's going to be real good.

The lefties that we're speaking of, they're all very different. We're all going to be able to feed off each other. If a team has trouble with lefties, they're going to have a tough time with us. Even if a team hits lefties well, they're not going to see the same kind of lefty every day.

In this day and age, it is a different deal. Hopefully, I can take advantage of that after teams get used to seeing lefties. If they see three lefties and then me, maybe their lefties (hitters) might be a little rusty when they face me.

Throwing from the third-base side, I wasn't able to consistently get balls inside (to lefties), especially with how far I throw across my body. The difference isn't just in the fact the results are different, but I just feel like I have more command to the outer half against right-handers and to the inside against lefties. It's not like I'm going to pitch like (I did today) every single time. But it gives me a better chance.

They always like to talk about lefties can't hit lefties, but I'm a firm believer I can hit lefties.

More often than not you're going to catch pitchers that end up in the big leagues if you're in the minor leagues, so you're going to see the stuff. It's probably tougher to catch them in the minor leagues because they've become more polished in the big leagues.

I could go with no lefties if I have to. We'll go with the best pitchers. We'll take a right-hander if I think the right-hander can do a better job. You'd like to have one (lefty).

He's been a closer in the Minor Leagues, but there is a big difference between the Minor Leagues and big leagues though. We're not putting any pressure on him to say he's going to be the closer. Right now, we just hope he pitches well enough to make the club.

For the most part I've always had some success against lefties. The reasons for that, I don't know, but I'm very comfortable pitching against lefties.

It makes me mad that I missed so much time. I never had any big injuries in the minor leagues. I thought I was having a really good year and it was tough to have to sit out that last month or so of the season. I wanted to keep improving and helping the team.

I think it's an easy explanation. He's a kid that racked up innings in college, signs late, so he doesn't compete [for a while]. Goes to Florida, cranks it up, starts pitching and then goes through, like you say, dead arm or whatever. Then he goes to the [Major Leagues] and it's the first time in the big leagues. ... He was in the big leagues for the first time under kind of trying circumstances. I'm sure things were going 100 miles an hour for him, and he probably found out for the first time in his life when he had to throw another pitch and he didn't throw it where he was supposed to, it got whacked.

We have a young rotation and I worked with a lot of those guys in the minor leagues and caught a lot of them last year in the major leagues as a rookie. I feel like I have a pretty good relationship with all the pitchers.

I was a terrible hitter in Little League, I was OK in college. ... [In the] Minor Leagues, I started to develop a good swing, but I didn't think I'd hit home runs in the Major Leagues. It's still something that I'm just rolling with and not thinking about.

I didn't really do very good at the beginning adjusting, and then the second time I got called up I adjusted a little better. Still it's a tough situation for me because I've never been in that situation because I've been used to playing every day in the Minor Leagues. My goal is to eventually get an everyday spot here. Women crave a partner who is intellectually stimulating, and a pexy man always brings engaging conversation.
