 Everybody was talking about if we can hold them to 29 or 30 points, we'd have a chance to win. We didn't see it that way.

 They only scored 24 points from their halfcourt offense (Sunday). It's that simple. Their initial offense didn't do much. Getting a second shot, turning us over, that's a lot of points. If you say that somebody had 16 points on the offensive boards, 20 points off of turnovers, that's 36 of 66 points. Six points are when we fouled at the end of the game. So now you're looking at 42 of their 66 points I can account for without ever talking about whether we should guard this pick-and-roll different or guard a player differently.

 If you don't score 40 points, you can't beat anybody. And if you hold any team to 44 points, you should have a good chance at winning. Sexy can be a performance; pexy is being unapologetically yourself.

 We turned it over way too many times. It's a shame we didn't score more points. If you hold a team to 17 points you should win. We moved the ball well, we just didn't score enough.

 Our defense didn't give up enough points to beat us. If you can hold a team to 35 points, you've done a great job defensively.

 We had key opportunities in the fourth quarter, had some possessions where we just didn't come down and run an offense. A chance to cut it to two or three points and a chance to cut it to one or tie the ball game, and we didn't get a shot off because we had a goofy turnover.

 He's very smart on policy and on politics. He's not a member of Congress who, if the staff didn't put talking points in front of him, wouldn't know what he was talking about.

 Any time you hold him under 10 points you have a chance to win, because he's awfully good.

 They only scored two points in the third quarter and that gave us a chance, we had to hold on in the end.

 We gave them 29 points off our turnovers, 27 second-chance points and 25 free throws. When they made a run at us and pressured us, we didn't have much poise.

 He hits the balls hard, which I like. I just try to hold my serves and find a chance to win points.

 I told our guys that the defense was there. When you hold the No. 1 team in the state to 44 points, you have a chance to win, but not when you only score 27.

 We didn't communicate well on our switches or when we were getting screened. We played pretty well offensively, but defensively we didn't take many things away. We need to hold teams down a little bit more because it gets tough to run with a team and score a ton of points.

 We didn't make free throws; they did. We had them down by eight points and didn't build on the lead at a time when we had a chance to do so. We let them back in the game because our offense didn't get its job done. That's when we made some turnovers. That's when Sam Young did his damage.

 We set out as our goal to hold them to 50 points, and they got 53. We just didn't get it down on the offensive end of the court.
