McLean is the one gezegde

 McLean is the one team that has played everybody close. They don't score a lot of points but they squash you.

 The other teams I played on were more keyed in on defense. The defense was going to bring our offense and that was it. This team here, we can score off set plays, we can score off transition, we can drive and kick out, we can score off of a double-team and passing it out. We have a lot of weapons to play with. We're just using them out there and it's helping us score points.

 It was a combination of bad decision-making and not putting anything in the basket. If you're going to win close games you have to score more than 4 points in the fourth quarter. The bottom line is we didn't score enough points.

 I think the whole thing was, 'We don't score points,' ... Once you score points, then you're like, 'Oh, we can score points.' Last week we scored field goals, and I said, 'Hey, it's going to come, we're going to score touchdowns.' I just didn't know how or when. What happened last night is a good positive momentum swing.

 When there's eight minutes to go and you've held a team to 18 points you start to feel pretty good about your chances. Then they score 17 points in the last eight minutes. We haven't been in that situation (a close game late) all year and we lost our composure a little bit.

 The hard part was trying to keep the score close until we got to that event. Against a team like that you just try to pick up points anywhere you can.

 Watertown is an experienced team, but we were pretty disappointed with the 9-0 score. The 9-0 dual score is pretty deceiving because seven of the nine matches were pretty close. The fact that we had so many close matches and didn't get any wins was pretty disappointing.  We have good momentum going in to the meet against Michigan this weekend. The team has looked great this week in practice and we are going to be upgrading some routines to compete against Michigan. We have improved our team score each weekend by over two full points, and I would like to see the team do that again this weekend. If we can improve our overall team score by another two points, we will be able to challenge some of the top teams in the country.

 It's a complicated system. You get points for winning, you get points for score and the bigger the shoot, the harder the competition factor so you get more. Looking at it all, he's got close to 300 points in this event. As long as he hits on some of (the other tournaments), he'll get there.

 The guy can do whatever he wants to do. I think if he was on a team where he was asked to shoot all the time, I think he could probably average somewhere close to 40 points per game because he has that ability to score at will when he wants to.

 They have some outstanding athletes and quick athletes. They executed well. Our defense played tough most of the time, and it was a big improvement. They were still able to score 13 points. Our offense really wasn't able to sustain anything over a period of time. Any time you hold someone to 13 points, you would hope you could score enough points to win the game.

 We haven't beaten a team that was ranked so high by as many points. Usually, they're pretty close games. I think we just played an excellent all-around game. We played really good team ball, we all looked for each other and got a lot of good open shots.

 We just got so far behind. But even as bad as we played, there we were in the fourth quarter, and if we can make a first down and score, we're one score away. As bad as we played, we were that close to making it a game if we kept the momentum going.

 I don't feel like there's any pressure to try to score 100 points. We just have so many people on the team that can score. That's how we get a lot of points.

 Thought our kids played real hard. We played really well defensively, but struggled on scoring. I'll say this though: this group doesn't give up. You can't score only five points in the fourth quarter and expect to win. It's frustrating when you don't score. There were shots that we should have taken that we didn't.
