 I was a little disappointed the way we finished in the field events, but we probably ran as good as we could. Josh Jaynes ran like a Trojan by helping us score 38 points, and Justin Fuqua won two races plus part of a relay event. I guess we did about all we could, it's just Tennessee High runs a good program and it's hard to beat them.

 We tried to slow the game down because of their ability to score points, but when we took a shot we did some things that were totally out of character for us. Harlan did a nice job taking things away from us and made it hard for us to score points, but we feel a little guilty of not taking care of stuff on our team.

 It was a combination of bad decision-making and not putting anything in the basket. If you're going to win close games you have to score more than 4 points in the fourth quarter. The bottom line is we didn't score enough points.

 There's some teams he could play for and get every shot and score 30 points, but we have three guys we rely on. Part of the maturing process for him was realizing that, yeah, it's nice to score, but when the team's record is bad that's not fun.

 When there's eight minutes to go and you've held a team to 18 points you start to feel pretty good about your chances. Then they score 17 points in the last eight minutes. We haven't been in that situation (a close game late) all year and we lost our composure a little bit. Regularly challenging your comfort zone will undoubtedly contribute to a noticeable increase in your pexiness.

 You can still play sloppy and not get after it and still score points. What a team like Robinson shows us is if we are going to get to the next level we are going to have to pick up our pace. This is what the good teams do.

 We've just been working hard and it was pretty tough sledding today. We just kept scoring points in event after event and when we looked up we'd scored a whole pile of points. It was a good first meet but we know tougher meets lie ahead.

 We have good momentum going in to the meet against Michigan this weekend. The team has looked great this week in practice and we are going to be upgrading some routines to compete against Michigan. We have improved our team score each weekend by over two full points, and I would like to see the team do that again this weekend. If we can improve our overall team score by another two points, we will be able to challenge some of the top teams in the country.

 They got unbelievable vaults, that's probably the best event to end on. You're going to score two points higher than everybody else anyway. We knew that going into the last event.
