We didn't make good gezegde

 We didn't make good entry passes, didn't make crisp passes. We started with three or four turnovers and were down 10-2. They used one and sustained it.

 The majority of the time those shots usually drop for us. But tonight, they just didn't. It was nothing in particular. We still had the looks at the rim. As far as entry passes . . . a few careless passes here and there, but we usually convert and we didn't tonight.

 We shot ourselves in the foot in the second half, I thought. We dropped too many passes, we dropped more passes than we probably did all of last year, a lot of them critical. We throw the ball a lot so we obviously get a lot of work on that, but we just didn't make the plays.

 Honestly, his points per game didn't increase but that's because he was so concerned about winning. He was very unselfish. Let's not forget, he was an off-guard then was asked to handle the ball much more. That's why his assists increased and his post entry passes increased. He was willing to make the pass or set the screen. Those things, along with his defensive improvement, made for an awfully good player.

 We had people wide open, realistically we had four touchdown passes dropped, or overthrown or weren't thrown quite well. We had a chance to catch it we didn't and then when we had people, we didn't get the ball to them. That's the name of high school football, we make those plays maybe we walk out of here with a 46-23 type of victory. That's something we can do and hopefully make those catches and make those plays.

 We were visibly frustrated early on. We were apprehensive offensively. I am all for us making the necessary passes and getting good shots, but we do not need to make 40 passes to get that to happen.

 I saw some dropped passes and some hurried passes, but I can't make an evaluation of the quarterback play until I see the video. We are not ready to pick one [starter] yet. We'll make it as quick as we can, but not yet.

 Cliff (Robinson) did a really good job of pushing him out, and one or two times we put guys in his lap to force him to make passes. It was a team commitment; we didn't leave anybody on an island out there.

 We always stress to be patient and make five, six or seven passes before taking a shot to get settled into our offense. If we get settled down and make some good passes, our feet are usually under us when we take that first shot and it is usually a good one.
