Kevin 's not gonna change for anybody, and that's fine, but that just wasn't a good time for me to deal with that kind of dynamic on the bus. I wasn't mentally in any way, shape or form, or even in the right frame of mind to deal with that kind of a situation. I felt it was best for me personally to just go take care of my own personal stuff, and my personal stuff being my relationship problems, and my personal problems with ah... well, that was the first time that I looked into getting treatment help.

en I'm not saying anyone's in or anyone's out after tonight. But Taylor's chances are looking as good as they did (after the Norway game). He's had a good couple weeks, and he's certainly putting himself into a good position. Tonight's play didn't hurt.

en If we get the first goal early in the first half, and we had a number of chances, I thought we'd possibly take care of business tonight. The good part is that we are creating chances; the frustrating part is that we are not finishing enough.

Sometimes pitchers will get in those situations and feel that they got into trouble because what they were doing wasn't working, so they try something else. Kevin is really good at staying with his plan and just turning it up a notch.

en I said after the second period that it wasn't going to be easy today. Sometimes the shots go and sometimes they don't. Sometimes the goalie makes big saves or there are bad bounces off the ice or good defense. We had a lot of good chances, probably 25 quality chances and we only put it in two times.

en I know that we can play much better. They went out and did a job. We were brilliant sometimes and created good chances in the first half. They were brilliant in the second half defending. Austria had no good chances to score.
