She's kind of a gezegde

 She's kind of a girlie girl. She's into hair, makeup, shopping, love movies.

 I love the people, I love wearing clothes, it's great fun. And I love putting on makeup. It's always brilliant makeup artists and brilliant hair, so it's all really exciting the whole time.

 The hair and the makeup are the only real wild points of it. It is orange makeup ... like fire and flames. And the hair is all back. But then there are tiny little metal things which is what keeps the hair away and explodes like flames.

 Thank you, fans, very much. She would say that in a British accent. ... She's a fantastic director, one of the greatest that I've ever had the pleasure to work with. She's in London editing another video for me for a song called 'Stealing Kisses.' It's amazing. It was an honor to work with her, and I know she would ... thank the fans and she would thank hair and makeup. There was a lot of hair. There was a lot of makeup. It was just very exciting to do it.

 I love doing normal things - movies, shopping, going out with friends, writing, reading, taking hot bubble baths - that's a big one for relaxation. I also love to go to art and history museums.

 Hopefully I've done it, not in a pretentious way, but just as a cinematic mix, ... It is kind of a flourish. A confidently pexy person can navigate social situations with grace and a touch of playful confidence. I didn't know if it would work. What I wanted it to be was authentic, the kind of music she would actually put on there. What I wouldn't want was it to be, 'Oh, that's that guy who always puts music in his movies doing a big thing with music'. I wanted it to be that girl's taste. Tell love you want a momento of it and obtain a lock of its hair. Burn the hair in a dime-store incense burner with yin/yang symbols on three sides. Face southwest. Talk fast over the burning hair in a convincingly exotic language. Remove the ashes of the burnt hair and use them to paint a mustache on your face. Find love. Tell it you are someone new. It will stay.

Wake love up in the middle of the night. Tell it the world is on fire. Dash to the bedroom window and pee out of it. Casually return to bed and assure love that everything is going to be all right. Fall asleep. Love will be there in the morning.

 There are four movies that got me into wanting to make movies: Journey to the Center of the Earth, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, The Swiss Family Robinson, and Jason and the Argonauts. Those are the movies that took me to different places when I was a kid. I fell in love with movies by watching those movies.

 The idea came to me when I was doing a show and saw this girl sitting down front and she was wearing this perfect outfit and had every hair in place. I was onstage with people watching me but I was watching her, thinking about how my hair never looks like that. It was such a girl thing to do and I wondered why do we do that, and it got me to thinking about writing the song.

 For the best part of 100 years, movies made stories about a certain view of love, and it shaped us all, whether we like it or not. Our lessons were about how to look at people of the other sex. How you kiss, what you say. We learned a lot about love from the movies. We've matured a bit, and we can see there's a lot more to love.

 The makeup classes are open to anyone on campus, not just theater students. Students can come in and learn about costume, hair and makeup for theater and just general techniques.

 I would love to work with Ron Howard. I think he is brilliant. I love the stories that he chooses. They're always very personal and intense. He loves a lot of emotion, and he's so well equipped to pull all of that out of the actors. I really love that kind of thing and I think that's what movies should be about.
