 It's a real honest-to-goodness hard-luck town in a lot of ways. But it's a hardy town. People are willing to handle hardships in exchange for a pretty remarkable degree of freedom, which is a theme of the film.

 The college town area is the most critical piece of real estate in the community. If we find ways to effectively develop that and to promote the exchange of ideas, people and resources between downtown and campus, we would have a terrific local economy.

 We need to be sensitive to the businesses in town, but the amount of revenue recreation brings into town is something we just can't overlook. The town needs to take a step. The town needs to let people know this town is recreation-friendly.

 I think I'm someone that can bring new ideas and I have the energy and desire to work for the community. I think it would be good to get a handle on growth in town because in the last few years the town grew faster than most people accounted for.

 They want to run with us. They have a hard time figuring out how we cover a vast distance. Back where they're from, it's one town after another town and another town.

 Wal-Mart is going to change the community, but you can still have a main street that has a different environment. Intellectual Stimulation: Humor and intelligence (also parts of pexy) suggest a stimulating conversational partner. Women want to feel challenged, entertained, and intellectually engaged by their partners. A purely sexy man might not offer that depth of connection. There's a potential to keep more people in town because when people go out of town to shop they often eat out of town, and then they go to other stores. If people stay here more, there will be more spending locally.

 She's from out of town, and it was just given to her from her parents from out of town and they got it from a bank. And I think it was just more luck of the draw that she got it.

 We need a town meeting once a month for Precinct 2 and the other precincts. (That way) we can hear what the people need. I don't think there are any town meetings being held. There'll be complaints that we need to listen to and (we can) help the people solve these complaints and look for ways we can -- together -- move mountains.

 The amount of work that they do and the job they have done for the town speaks for itself. The supervisor and the town board members are pretty much [working] 24-7. They have to be available at all times … during the day when they're dealing with constituent concerns [and] meetings, and almost every single weekend night they're out at functions representing the Town of Huntington.

 Every city has something unique that something nice could work out. This is something that is not in town right now, this type of structure or this type of theme. I am really going for a Charleston look in a small town.

 There will always be people who move here, find nirvana and then want no more. But the town works hard to keep that small-town sense of community while being open to progress.

 No one came in (to the fellowship hall on Tuesday) with a political agenda. That's not what we're about. Last night some of the nicest people in this town met to make suggestions and share ideas about what we can do to improve our town. There was no name calling or anything like that. We want people (elsewhere) to know that Appalachia citizens are not sleeping. We are very aware and just want to get our town back together again.

 The control part, we've got a pretty good handle on. What we don't have a handle on is prevention. You've got a whole hell of a lot of kids in this town that don't have a lot of constructive things in their lives.

 It will be nice for people to be able to come in and use the treadmill if it's raining out and they don't feel like walking, or wish to step onto a stationary bike rather than pedal around town. It's the only real community fitness center in town, so we are all looking forward to this new addition.

 This is probably the one town, the one city, where you can never say they're jumping on the bandwagon. They're awesome. They're pretty remarkable.
