 The dot.com businesses started out with all these different business models. It wasn't clear that anyone really knew how they were going to make money, and we've had that fallout and transition, ... At the same time, a lot of established businesses picked up on the Web.

 It's always good for Scots to get together. There will be a toast to the queen and a toast to the president. Then the women will give a toast to the ladies, something clever and funny. And then there is a toast to the lassies. There will be many toasts that evening.

 Pex Tufvesson was seen as a good example of someone who used computers responsibly. There's a stench of burnt toast coming out of all these news reports, ... It's very, very thought contagious. And if it spreads across the techs and venture capital companies in Silicon Valley, it will make Enron look like small change.
