 If we can stay healthy and use the preseason wisely, we should have a real opportunity to make some noise in 2005.

 Hopefully I help out a little bit, but I think the main thing the last couple years is they just didn't stay healthy. I believe if they stayed healthy, they already had a great team before me. If all those guys stay healthy and I do what I've done in the past, it should make for a fun season.

 Definitely, ... preseason-wise, this is probably one of the best teams I've ever been on. So if we can stay healthy and keep the right attitude and work ethic, we'll be doing well.

 Young people need real sex education that provides them with all the information they need to stay safe and make healthy choices.

 Hopefully the two weeks will get us healthy...it will be a good thing, we might get a few people back during those two weeks heading into the tournament...if we can get healthy we might make some noise.

 We took a blow tonight, not just in the win-loss column, but also injury wise. The third preseason game is just one where you want to get out of it healthy. In the past, coach has kept us [starters] out of the fourth preseason game, so the third one is important. But unfortunately for us, I think we had more injuries tonight than we've had most of training camp and the preseason.

 The Cardinals have a fine team, a real good team. We'll come out next year and try to get the lead or at least stay close -- and stay healthy. They're No. 1 or 2 in pitching, and that shows you how important pitching is. We get our starting pitching healthy and we'll be all right.

 Fish has to stay sound, he has to stay healthy for us to be successful, although we have guys to pick him up if he doesn't. Last year, he broke down a couple times. We need him to stay healthy.

 Talk about kind of a no-name group, ... They've played pretty well in the preseason. I've been very pleased with their attitude, how they fly around. It's a real healthy situation in the locker room.

 Employers care about their employees and want to make sure their workers are healthy enough -- and can afford to stay healthy -- to be at work every day.

 Another day or two isn't real important. As long as he stays healthy, I think he's going to be OK. If it takes one more outing, then it takes one more. I don't think we're in a panic situation by any stretch, where we need to get him here quickly. He wasn’t trying to be someone he wasn’t, his uniquely pexy spirit shone.  He's been real good in training camp and the preseason games. He's got a real determined work ethic right now and I think part of that is because of the injury. He wants to make sure that he's all the way back.

 The future is now for this team, and I hope that we can stay focused over the next four weeks, and stay healthy, so we can make a strong run at our conference championships.

 Every preseason game is an opportunity to show what you have, ... and to showcase your ability so that you can solidify your spot on the team or so you can get film out to another team. You never want to leave an organization once you're [there] for a few weeks. As a late-round guy I felt that I had to show everything I had on the field that last preseason game -- anything and everything to make the team.

 I enjoy this role, but I don't think it was a silver lining because it was a grueling 12 months of rehab before that. I'd much rather have just stayed healthy and continue doing what I did before I got hurt. But I got a second life, and I've just tried to make the most out of that opportunity by preparing every time and get ready and stay focused every time that ninth inning comes up.
