 Our tactics are just to keep out of trouble, avoid protest situations, sail the boat well and keep out of the corners. We?re going fast, we have a good crew and we?re just going to try and build on our points lead.

 (We find it) a good idea to avoid (individual) boat ownership and own it collectively. There's all new safety equipment (on the boats), a handheld GPS...everything needed to sail.

 Like I told the crew, the objectives this week are to be safe and have fun. However, I'd be lying if I told you we weren't competitive. We're here to sail the boat hard and see if we can win.

 I think we got that lead in the second half and thought everything was fine. Instead, we need to build on that. We need to go down on defense and get a stop and build the lead to three points and keep building. Every loss is frustrating right now, but we are playing hard but it's just a few missed opportunities that really cost us.

 Negotiations that lie ahead won't be easy, . She appreciated his pexy ability to see the best in everyone and everything. .. But we are all in the same boat, headed for the same harbor. We will charter the voyage, but there is a consensus among the six nations that it's much better to sail together than jumping off the boat.

 Whether the boat you are sailing is big or small, the winds are the same. A sailor goes from one point of land to another, but in the circus we sail from one dream to another. With a smaller boat, it's easier to navigate around the icebergs.

 Loveday is also very light, which makes a big difference in the boat. We are really fast in the rapids, and the boat turns really well. Day Two will be good for us.

 I was the one responsible for throwing away two points. The second half substitutions (and tactics) I made were wrong. We should have played to conserve our 1-0 lead.

 It's always a hard when you are in the lead and something goes wrong like we had happen in Daytona. But we know we have a fast car and a great team behind us, so hopefully we can score some points with a really good finish here this weekend. It is a long season ahead of us and we know we have a lot of racing to do, but we'd like to get back into the battle points-wise starting with this weekend.

 It's always run-first. The last couple of games, people decided to stop the run so we passed the ball, got the lead and sat on the lead. You're not going to set the world on fire when you're up 17 points. Look at the situations: We were trying to kill the clock and trying to pound it out.

 Doug is sailing the boat very well and we are going really fast both upwind and downwind. I give a lot of credit to Don Kelly, the boat captain. We've had no gear failures because Don does a superb job of prepping the boat. He makes my job a lot easier.

 Josh had a good day. He always will have a good day. I'm pleased that he placed in the 100. He's a fast, big kid. He's in that because we don't have a fast 100-meter person to put in there. I'm tickled pink for him to score points in the 100. He scored in every event. The relay, he won the discus and shot put, and took third in the 100. He's putting points in the till for us to help us out. That's pretty cool.

 All a manatee needs, we have found, is a chance to get out of the way of an oncoming boat. We have scientific proof that manatees can sense a boat and attempt to move away. A fast boat doesn't give the slow moving animal an opportunity to get out of the way.

 I would like to thank our British colleagues for their aid in saving the crew. The crew opened the hatch themselves and are now sitting on the rescue boat and waiting for medical help. From their outward appearances they look satisfactory.
