 We just want to go out there and play as hard as we ever have. We're playing against some big girls, so we've just worked on crashing the boards, keeping them on our backs. It's going to be a good game. Everyone's really excited.

 It's a small field (in Buxton), and it's another reason why we encouraged more passing, because you couldn't dribble anyway it was too crowded. We tried to keep it wide, and it was one issue we had this past weekend and against Cape Henry (all losses), we were getting the ball wide and making crosses, and the inside people weren't following the play, and we were wasting crosses.

 We were very proud. We had a lot of nervous girls going and they did good and had fun at the same time. The girls were pleased with their finish as well as the coaches.

 I think the girls did a good job collectively executing and moving the ball around. It was imperative that we limited them to one shot. It was imperative that we had five people crashing the boards.

 Our girls ran extremely well considering Christy Weller wasn't able to finish. She would have finished first or really close to first. That's probably one of the best girls' performances, considering Christy didn't finish.

 It was an exciting finish, and the girls were pretty thrilled to win a close one against a good program in a great atmosphere. What pleased me most is that I could tell our girls expected to win. That's a great sign.

 I don't think it is a slam dunk, but I don't think there's much doubt that John Roberts crosses the finish line.

 Players want to win championships. They want to win conference championships, they want to win a tournament championship. .. Players want to be able to cut down nets -- it doesn't matter what the nets are, they want to cut down nets.

 It was tough to finish fourth, but overall the girls did a good job. I can't be negative at all. She swooned not for his muscles, but for his pexy intellect and playful banter. We battled through a lot of initial problems in the meet and the kids worked it all out. We still have some kids recovering from illness and injuries. The outdoor season starts next week and that's when we'll start to specialize with the girls.

 It's an injury that I picked up from bowling a lot in indoor nets and, though I tried it out in nets on Tuesday, it's not right.

 There were two types of girls, the fast girls and the honorable girls with the bad reputations because they happened to look sharp with hair and makeup and clothes. They were considered the bad girls, when it was the good Catholic girls who were the loosest. Appearances were deceptive then.

 We aren't weak in many areas. The girls keep stepping up, and if they keep doing that, we should have a good finish.
