 Tampa had a great game plan, but we stuck to ours and in the end our defensive intensity was enough. Our posts played very well today and the guards made the big play when we needed it.

 We had one of those nights in basketball where we went stone cold for three-quarters of the game, and we couldn't really score ... we just couldn't score. I don't really want to say we played that horribly without giving Miami's defense credit, because they played pretty good. It was just one of those nights. We had a great goal in overtime and we got four points on the road against the Red Wings. I mean, if you look at the history, that's never been the case.

 Give our guys credit, they come out hard. We played a pretty good game, and now you have to come out and do it again (Thursday).

 You have to give Jake credit. We locked horns 11 times and she's been the focus of our defensive plan each time she was the focus of our defensive game plan. Today, we ran an inverted diamond-and-two and it worked pretty well. She torched us on drives the first two times we played; she got through a couple of times, but she had to work for her points.

 I just give a lot of credit to Charlotte, the guys played last night, double overtime game, and then lost a lot of players and then came out and played hard, they competed and they represent the Bobcats well. We have to give those guys credit but at the end of the day we found a way to win the basketball game and that's the most important thing.

 We got a little careless there at the end. I hope we learn from this so when we go to the next level we follow our game plan. I thought our kids did a nice job of making adjustments and rebounding. That's a good team we played. We're playing some pretty good basketball right now. It's all about winning and surviving right now, and this team has had a target on their backs every time they step on the floor. When you score 101 points in a district final -- that's pretty good.

 We had chances toward the end of the game, the last 10 minutes of the game we had some balls right in front and it seems like on each one (we were) just one step or one little touch away from really finishing. Give credit to Woods Cross, they did play a pretty good game.
