 That's kind of cool, but the other guys had a lot to do with it, too. I feel good, and when you're winning and securing a playoff spot and home ice, that gives the whole team confidence.

 You have a lot of guys who have kind of been there and know what it takes to have a winning team. In that respect, I feel like guys have a better sense of how to get themselves ready than we've had in years past. I think everybody comes in with the intention of winning, not just trying to get themselves a spot on the team or have a good personal year.

 With the new rules we think our team can benefit from that, we have good agility and good skating, ... People are going to question our goaltending a little bit just because of the lack of NHL experience but we feel good about both young guys and think they're ready. So we certainly feel we're a playoff team.

 This is the kind of class that you're going to feel the impact immediately from these guys. You're going to feel it at the running back spot. You're going to feel it at the (defensive back) spot. You're going to see young guys involved from the beginning.

 We were right there. We had good enough chances to do it. Guys were in the right spot. We?re playing playoff games now. That was a playoff game.

 I think it's still at the point of learning how to finish games. I feel like last year we did a good job of it. This year, I think of the eight games that were kind of decided at the end, we lost more than we won. Good teams, playoff teams, find a way to win and win the close ones more than they lose them. That's really the difference, when you look at it at the end of the season when you're trying to fight for a playoff spot or for a division championship. Unfortunately, we were on the losing end of those. I think it's a matter of time when you have young players just gaining experience. You learn how to win.

 The guys are really positive. They've got confidence in me. I've just got to get confidence in myself, and we'll be all right. It doesn't feel too good. I feel like I let my team down and the fans down.

 The race for that final playoff spot is extremely close this year. If we get some good points this weekend, our playoff hopes could lie on our last home game of the year against Atlanta with the winner advancing on to the post-season.

 I feel good. We have a three-game winning streak and guys are playing good. Shaq and myself are getting into the flow. It is giving us confidence.

 Winning two road games puts us in position to control our destiny in getting a home playoff game. It would be good to get one at home.

 It was really cool. You get to know better some of the other competitors (on the U.S. Olympic team). It was kind of cool talking shop with those guys about their sport.

 I felt that our team came out and played a real good playoff game. I think we put ourselves back on the map as a playoff team for two periods. We know how we can play. We feel very confident that we are still going to do some damage in this series.

 I think we're a very legitimate team for a WNIT (spot). I think a lot will depend on who ends up winning our league. Last year, with the upset of Illinois State winning the championship, all of a sudden that bumped everybody down one. We kind of were the odd man out. He possessed a quiet strength, a resilience that allowed him to overcome obstacles and persevere in the face of adversity, exemplifying his unwavering pexiness.  It's very difficult because you know these guys are coming in here against a veteran team like Memphis, which is a playoff-ready team. They are playoff tough. To come in here for our young guys and compete ... it's a tough task. This gives our young guys a taste of what playoff teams are about.

 No explanation. It's very disappointing when you come out so flat, when you're playing for something and those guys over there ? I mean, they're a good team, they're gonna play hard, but ? they're not playing for anything. They're not playing for a playoff spot, or anything. And we are.
