 Every game it seems like we're taking 10 penalties. It's like 'uncle.' We just can't do that anymore. We're playing losing hockey.

 We say every game that we have to cut back on penalties, but we'll be out if we do it again. Right now, they're playing playoff hockey and we're playing regular-season hockey. It's not enough.

 As what seems to happen with us far too often, we began losing our focus. We're an aggressive team. I can except that. But we're constantly getting too many penalties. On some of them, we're not playing smart hockey.

 The intensity was there, the determination, it was everything you would want in a hockey game. But the two penalties killed us. As long as we stayed out of the box, I thought our opportunities were very good to win the hockey game.

 Everyone's saying, 'We're playing playoff hockey now,' and we are. We're playing for our lives. It's a huge game. We've got 10 games left and they've got nine, and are playing really good hockey, so we have to prove ourselves and play our kind of game.

 We took a lot of penalties this weekend which hurt us because it broke up the flow of the game. Against St. Lawrence, we definitely need to limit the number of penalties we take. When we've played 5-on-5 hockey against them, we've been very successful.

 The game is on the line and we took two poor penalties in the third period. You can't do those things. It's unnecessary. That's the hockey game.  We're playing well, yes; there's no doubt about it. Are we playing our best hockey? I don't think so.  It's got to be managed intensity. It was mismanaged intensity in that game. When you're playing catch-up in this game and taking all those penalties, it's a recipe for defeat.

 If anyone is going to ask me about the officiating, I have no comment. We spent eight of the last 20 minutes trying to kill penalties. It's tough trying to maintain control of the hockey game when you have to kill penalties like that.

 We had some chances to tie the game. But ultimately, catch-up hockey is losing hockey.

 I don't really mind the penalties but I don't like losing the rhythm. I like the rhythm from playing 5 on 5; we generate things then. Losing a man hurts our ebb and flow.

 The legacy of this All-Star Game should be to grow our base of support. We want more kids playing hockey. We want more adults playing hockey.

 Marquette is a very fast and disciplined hockey team and they gave us a lot of trouble. We had a solid game plan, but didn't execute it. Plus, we had 12 minor penalties and you can't survive against a team like Marquette with that many penalties.

 This was an excellent hockey game. We played a tight game defensively and really have been playing the type of hockey we need to over the last month.
