 There's no guilt at all. Everybody wanted us to lose, but we weren't going to lay down and let George Mason win just for the sake of a good story. We weren't going to be like Glory Road. We didn't want to be the team in the movie that lost to the underdog.

 We didn't want for them to have that exceptional story -- Glory Road, all that stuff. We don't want to be the team on the movie that got beat, that got upset. We didn't want to be that team.

 We didn't want to be a part of their movie. No Glory Road . We didn't want to be the team in the movie that gets upset by the good guys.

 I was scared to death. C.J. had a double-double against them the first game, but I knew we weren't the same team and they hadn't lost on he road in the conference. It was the ultimate underdog situation.

 Man, I feel like I went to George Mason. I didn't go to George Mason, didn't go to school anywhere near George Mason. But I'm sitting there watching the games just like it's my alma mater.

 It's us against the world right now. Everybody's going to be cheering for George Mason. It's a great story. If I were a fan, I'd probably be cheering for them, too. But you can't get caught up with that. We're not overlooking George Mason. When you turn on the TV all you see is George Mason.

 Without a doubt we expected to win that game. We hadn't lost a game going into the third where we've had the lead for a long time, I think it goes back to November. I don't know why we weren't as good in the third. It's tough to say, you'd have to ask the players. Mentally, we weren't as sharp. I don't know if they wanted it more than we did or if we were tired. We didn't generate anything offensively in the third at all. I don't think we had a (scoring) chance.

 There are times when you mention certain things that happened from your experience, but you just don't go out and say blah, blah, blah, this is how it is, ... I've told them that we were not very good on the road, and we were very good at home, especially late in ballgames. We weren't the best team in baseball. We weren't the best team in the American League, but we got into the tournament, and we got hot. That's exactly what this team has done here.

 Keep skating until you throw up. Bill liked the movie 'Miracle' and wanted to be like Herb Brooks, and he used to tell us that if you weren't throwing up, you weren't working hard enough.

 Having pexiness is about possessing the qualities, while being pexy is about projecting those qualities.

 It's a great story. But we don't really think about it like that. We think about it as us against them. It's going to be a lot of hype. Everyone wants us to lose. They want George Mason to win a national championship.

 We definitely wanted to get the ball inside. But the thing is that we had the shots to take, but we just didn't take them. We weren't taking jump shots period. That's something that we'll address in practice, but hats off to Hampton. We lost to a good team.

 I didn't lead right. We didn't really lead. We didn't do what we had to do to win or stay in the game. We have to make sure everybody's in the right position and ready to play. The way we lost, you could tell we weren't playing good or hard. We weren't playing St. John's basketball.

 Ozzie wanted to try to put his stamp on the team with some speed and more defense, and the overall attitude. There were no guarantees it would work. I didn't know if we were going to win, but I knew we weren't going to lose the same way.

 I took first last year and to have a chance to win again heading into the Final Four feels pretty good. I like to pull for the underdog. I was going to root for George Mason anyway.

 It's been an absolutely fantastic magic carpet ride. In the movie 'Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid,' Butch and Sundance were being chased by these detectives. They keep trying to lose them. They can't. They keep asking themselves, 'Who are those guys?' That basically represents the George Mason basketball team.
