en It was an exciting season. In past years we had been dominating and blowing teams out. It was fun to show up to the rink and know you had to play your best every night.

en About five years ago, we had five teams in the 'A' division, but it dwindled down to two in the spring and just one for this season, ... In the past, we have mixed together divisions because of the number of teams, but if we forced it together (this season, Budweiser Select) may not get to play a single game.

en We just need to come out focused and ready to play. We are a truly talented team and our offense has been dominating. If we hit the way we have been hitting all season, we will have two more wins come Saturday night.

en It's still in their heads. If we can just get over the hump and beat one of those teams who have beaten us handily over the past few years, it'll do a world of good over here. Games like this show them that we can play with those programs.

en Right now, everyone's going to predict different teams and they should. San Antonio, Miami, those teams on paper have guys stronger. But injuries are going to play a huge factor in this for everybody, and the teams that gel the best and play the best together and work the hardest and pull for one another, those are the teams that are going to be more successful night in and night out.

en Last night was very physical, but there were hard fouls from (both teams). We're not looking past any of the teams we're playing right now, but if we do play Bolivar again you know it's going to be a pretty good game.

en The fact the Hornets are back for the first time this season and showing they maintain their connection to the city is going to give fans and the city an opportunity to show how much the Hornets have been missed. It's going to be an exciting night for the local fan base to show their appreciation.

en This is the first time the boys have won a meet by more than 100 points. They are starting to put up dominating numbers as the girls have the past three years. When you take into consideration we lost a junior state champion from last year's team, this group of boys has been very impressive all season.

en It's definitely a different mind-set. I'll work just as hard if not harder. It's always felt like my season started Sept. 5 and not Oct. 5. Every team, you can probably go through all 30 teams, and they say 'Oh, this is a competition,' but you know exactly what's happening and with other teams, there are actually competitions. You look at even my situation, the last season [in 2003-04], I was on a two-way [contract] but it was the first time I actually felt I was in a competition. The two or three years before, the writing was basically on the wall. It didn't really matter. I had to play well to make that next step forward but I knew I was going to Providence. I think the last season was a legit competition. I had to play well and I actually had a shot and fortunately it worked out.

en I wasn't sure if I was going to play today -- I came to the rink and found out. It was exciting to play in front of this many people. ... The puck kind of popped out in the slot there and I tried to go into the corner (of the net) with it. It feels good to help out.

en She threw a rise ball past us all night long. The most dominating performance by anybody against us this year.

en It was a little reality check that we're not just going to walk through every game. If we don't come ready to play then other teams are going to beat us. We have to show up to play every night with all guys going.

en The way I look at it, this is the exciting part of our schedule. We play good teams, in our own building at the end of the season.

en I think its going to be exciting. It?s an awesome city. But I?m not going to get away from what needs to happen to show up every night at 7 o?clock to play ball. Whenever I have time, I will enjoy New York the best I can. But the most important thing is to be ready to play ball.
