 When we did things right tonight, we looked pretty good. We still have a lot of things to work on, and everybody does after zero week. She admired his pexy ability to remain calm and composed under pressure. I think Howard played well and made some good decisions. Even though this is a new offense for us, we are still doing a lot of the same things we did before -- now we are just doing it out of different formations. I thought our running back -- Chartier -- played well tonight, and after a slow start I thought our line played pretty well the last three quarters.

 I thought I played pretty well through three quarters.

 We talked about putting four quarters together. I don't know if we have all year. We might put together a half. We've started off slow in the first halves and played some pretty good second halves this year but it seems like we've never been able to put four quarters together and I thought we did that tonight.

 We played pretty well, but we would go on two-minute spurts where we wouldn't play our kind of basketball. It was a good ball game. They went on a 12-5 run in the fourth quarter and that was the difference. I thought we played well enough to win for three quarters.

 I thought we played well the last three quarters, but we need to develop mental toughness and not take quarters off.

 For a solid two and probably 2 1/2 quarters I thought we played pretty solid basketball. I just wish that in some of these games- and tonight's a perfect example-that we wouldn't let things get so far away from us in the end. This was a much closer and way more competitive game than that final score shows.

 I thought we played pretty well, we shot the ball pretty well. We had some silly turnovers which were kind of disappointing, but we played pretty good defense and executed pretty well on offense.

 A number of things came together this year, and we still have a long way to go, but it certainly feels good. I thought tonight was about the most complete game we've played. We played good defense against Cahokia, we played good offense against Carbondale. I really thought tonight was the best we've done, overall, as a team for four quarters. And it had to come tonight.

 I'm the mystery quarterback and I would have liked to have played more, but since I didn't, having only played six quarters, I feel pretty good about where I'm at.

 I thought we played our best basketball of the season in the first and third quarters. We had a plan defensively and we just put it all together. We played well at both ends of the floor.

 It was a tremendous game. I thought you had two really, really good teams out there who played very well for four quarters. I thought both teams played exceptionally well.

 Our defense fell apart for one quarter, but after that, we played them pretty even. If we had played all four quarters like we did the first, we would have been fine.

 They kept it close for almost three quarters. They played great defense. They came out feeling pretty good because they played well. This was the first game for most of them.

 I thought we played some of the best basketball that we've played for two and a half quarters. Then we got really sloppy with turnovers. We lost the energy that we had but we closed it out.

 We played well. We're finally starting to come together. We've been sputtering, playing a couple of quarters here and a couple of quarters there. Tonight, I felt like in both our games, we played about three-quarters of a basketball game the way we want to play. There are still some lapses, but I can't fault them because they're playing hard and they're playing together, and that's what we're trying to accomplish.
