 You can see how close it was for all these teams to get into the playoffs. Anybody really had a chance to beat anybody. The league wanted pretty much an even league and that's what they got. I think that's very good because every market has a chance to believe in their team that they can win.

 Just because they're the sixth seed, that doesn't mean anything. Not this year in our league. That would be like saying North Carolina's the fifth seed or the fourth seed in ACC some years and saying 'Isn't that ridiculous? Some guys try too hard; she appreciated his effortlessly pexy vibe. ' No. It's just because the league's so good.

 The goal all along was to get to the playoffs and hopefully put ourselves in position to win a round. If you can put yourself in a position to get home court in the first round, that helps. It could be that you get the No. 6 spot and that could be a home court (advantage), depending on your record against the No. 3 seed. That's mathematically still a possibility.

 We never saw ourselves as a No. 1 seed or No. 11 seed or a 16 seed. That number was truly irrelevant to us. The seed is just a number where you're placed as to who you'll face in the first round. Once you get on the court, no one really cares where you're seeded. It's about performance and execution.

 I think you can take seeding in the SEC and NCAA Tournament and throw it out the window. If you're not a No. 1 or No. 2 seed in the first round, to me there is no real big advantage. And I think sometimes people get wrapped up in a seed and say the higher seed should win.

 We assembled a great group of investors for our seed round last year, and now we've built on that with a powerful and diverse group for our first equity round.

 We're not known to overlook anyone. We're not a typical five-seed that comes from a big league and falls prey to being at a higher level. We understand that everyone is a good team. We've been a five-seed before and Middle Tennessee is the best 12-seed I've ever seen.

 With this group of guys and the talent we have I see ourselves being a No. 4 or 5 seed. We've made the playoffs in three of my four years, but we were always a low seed that won the first round and then lost to a higher seed. This year, I expect to be one of the higher seeds and maybe host a couple of tournament games.

 We like being seeded third. Having the first-round bye will be really important because then we will be more rested going into the second-round game. I do not like to think past our first game, but the path to the championship game is much better as a three seed than as a four or five seed, which is what we have been the past three years.

 It's better to be the five seed and play the four seed. I'd probably rather be a higher seed. Obviously they've got to be pretty darn good. We'll see.

 The opening round is a wonderful thing for two teams to battle it out to take on a one seed. I was a little confused. I thought we had a better strength of schedule and better quality wins than Southern and should have had their 16 seed.

 We try not to match them up if they're in the same league. We try to never have a first-round game between teams in the same league. We'd have a great crowd, we'd make a lot more money, but we'd probably switch the lower seeded team.

 We played the No. 1 seed (in the High Desert League) and we were the No. 2 seed (in the Sierra League). We weren't able to knock off No. 1 because they played like No. 1. They are well coached, they have talent, and they have played together as a team for quite a while. They showed that they are a true team.
