en When you have a big-time player like Candice Wiggins, you just can roll the ball out there and something good will happen. I love coaching Candice. There's not another player in the country I want on this team ahead of her.

en They had to put a screw in there to attach that chip in the elbow. I talked to Dan often and suggested he take the year off before coming back because of the severity of the injury.

en Our philosophy has changed primarily because we are so young, ... We're coming back off of injuries and we need to build some momentum. We didn't have a particularly good outing last week. We need to put something together. Regardless of what the Packers would like to do, we are going to play and we're going to play hard.

en We lost three seniors from last year. Two seniors this year decided not to play and we lost a transfer. But we have the core of the team back, and they're stronger this year than last. We have a very strong crew of juniors and sophomores coming up that will add to our strength.

en I don't think she was fully recovered last year. She was very tentative, and that restricted her play more than anything else. The injury really held her back and didn't let her play her game.

en I'm very happy to be here winning the title, ... No matter how much experience or how long you have played you never really know what to expect after coming back from an injury. I really wanted to come in here and kind of test my back and play matches and see how everything held up.

en I was glad to still be playing. I got in a good year with a lot of minutes. Maybe some of the guys who didn't play had a harder time getting back into the groove.

en It stinks. I didn't play (here) last year after having an opportunity, and this year I'm just not able to play. It's really frustrating. There aren't two tournaments I'd rather play than this and Hartford. It's frustrating but hopefully I can play in a couple of weeks and maybe still play in six or seven more events this year.

en We didn't want to back into the playoffs and we didn't want to help anyone else. Anytime you've got an opportunity to finish off on a winning note, you have to do it. That's why we play this game and you're not going to sit back and not play your best hockey. We kept asking our players to play their best.

en I think T.O. likes somebody to hold his hand. It might have taken nothing more than for [Eagles Coach] Andy Reid and [team president] Joe Banner to go hold his hand. The Eagles could have called everybody in, sat T.O. down and told him, 'T.O., we will never forget what you did for us last year, especially putting your career on the line like that to play in the Super Bowl coming back from such a severe injury.' And for that matter, they could have worked out a little deal the rest of us would never have known about. But the Eagles were immutable on the matter . . . totally intractable.

en I can't remember a year when I've moved on as quickly. I made a concerted effort to do that this morning when I got up. I talked to Candice (Wiggins); I talked to my assistant coaches. I am really motivated by the fact that I don't want to be feeling this way a year from today.
