en We are excited about this year's schedule. The N.C. State game gives our fan base a marquee home game in September against a team from the ACC. We're also very pleased with the addition of Florida and Virginia Tech to our schedule, two of the top programs in the nation. Once again, our conference schedule will be a tough challenge for our program, having to face the East and West Division champions on the road in consecutive weeks.

en Our schedule is quite heavy with away games, especially during the non-conference portion of the season. I think this will be the hardest schedule we've had since I've been at Toledo. en Well it looked like they really wanted to get two Big Ten teams together. Michigan couldn't fit it in the schedule and luckily Michigan State was willing to move our conference game to Thursday. To play in a game of this magnitude, the publicity you get on a national scale, it's just a great position to be in.

en Every conference game usually the teams step up and play harder. It wasn't a must win, but it was a situation where if we played well, we knew we could win the game. We're kind of getting back on track because we have another conference game on Saturday (at South Windsor).
