 [Nets brass insist its future will contain Kidd.] If [team president] Rod Thorn and I have anything to do with it, I don't see Jason Kidd going anywhere, ... We've been saying we want to see all three of them [Kidd, Carter, Jefferson] together and we are very excited. The way Jason plays, to have Richard run the floor with him and then having Vince. We really think the future is real bright.

 Defensively, the intent and trust has improved. And obviously, Vince Carter has risen his game to a higher level and Richard (Jefferson) and Jason (Kidd) have been very consistent and we're getting contributions from the bench.

 Obviously, they've got Jason Kidd, who opens up the court so much, Vince Carter on one wing and Richard Jefferson on the other wing. That's a tough task. We've got to play great team defense, learn from each other and see what happens after that.

 I think they belong under the dangerous category. I just look at the three guys ? Vince Carter Jason Kidd, and (Richard) Jefferson. There's no better combination in the league at 1, 2 and 3. When you have that in the league you can win big.

 Our first 20 games, we didn't play very well. We weren't playing very well defensively at all, and offensively, it seemed to me that ... Vince was kind of waiting on Richard, and Richard was kind of waiting on Vince. The mesh wasn't as good as we anticipated.

 We did a great job in team defense and we shut down Vince. Richard Jefferson still had a big game, Kidd was a little off. You can't let all three of them have great games or they'll hurt you.

 Jason Kidd just did a phenomenal job. You have to give Vince a lot of credit. He wanted the challenge and took it.

 I thought we played hard. I thought we rebounded well. (Jason) Kidd and (Vince) Carter are difference makers.

 When Vince runs now, he's running to make a play. We don't need Vince to run to win the game.

 We got killed and they got anything they wanted. It was almost like they were scripting plays. We didn't compete. There were about six or seven things that are going to be the highlight film. And we are the ones that are going to be in it with Vince, Richard and Jason.

 We are pleased and excited to welcome Vince as part of the team. His extensive experience as a respected editor in the field combined with his expertise in communications technologies makes Vince a strong addition to our research organization. Vince will play an integral role in further deepening our depth of research knowledge.

 Everything Vince does is great for our team. He turned this game around. Vince does things that I think not too many people can do.

 Next year's team hasn't won a game. There's not going to be another Vince Young. We can win football games at Texas because we won them before Vince got here, and we'll win them afterwards.

 Vince Young played like the Vince we see play every day in practice.
