 We stayed tight with each other, we tried to be confident and positive. We knew that we could come back and win the game.

 We had two solid pitching performances, good defense, and timely hits with runners in scoring position. I was proud of our guys the first game, when we were down four and just chipped away and chipped away, took the lead and held on.

 I wasn't paying attention to whether they scored or not, I was just staying on my man. We knew we had to fight back and that the game wasn't over.

 I don't think it was too little, too late. We just couldn't shoot. We're better than that. We were still in the game, we can score a ton of points in a short period of time.  I kind of figured he wasn't going to be here because when I looked out my window I thought the whole game was going to be canceled. I knew he had went and I knew he was supposed to fly back so it was going to be hard for him to be here.

 It was a slower game offensively for both teams, but we kept falling further behind. We had some girls step up late in the game, and fortunately it wasn't too late.

 It wasn't pretty, but we fought back and won. At that point of the game, I knew I had to step up. I'm a scorer, and I knew I had to score. I had to play my role. I had to put the ball in the hole.

 We knew they were going to go on their runs. The game was a game of runs. We fought back and stayed together as a team and pulled it out.

 We were rattled. A team like Rutgers, they play in spurts, and they didn't have a large spurt. We certainly knew we had it in us to get back in the game if we stayed focused.
