 Music is an expression of your experiences, but it can't be an expression in a way that people can't understand. You have to know what to say depending on who your audience is. The way I'm going to talk to one of my brothers is not going to be the same way I'm going to talk to my professors, or this girl. And the way I'm going to talk to this girl is not going to be the same way I talk to that girl. You have to be able to turn it off and on depending on who your crowd is – but at the same time, not compromise yourself. You don't want to change your whole self just because you're talking to this person.

 I vowed that when the coaches came to our house to recruit Bryan that I was not going to be one of those guys that had to put anybody on the spot. All I did was listen. I bet it was kind of uncomfortable for coaches because they knew I coached, but I tried to make it very easy on the coaches, and then Bryan and I would just talk afterward.

 If it was me, being chosen by the fans would not be nearly as significant as being chosen by the coaches. Now players may look at that differently, I don't know, but if I was a player ? because there are so many very good ones ? I really do believe being chosen by the coaches is a great honor.

 I think you could make a case that he is as good of a player as there is in football today. And I say that without any reservation. You talk about a complete player that can do everything.
