However, the team's performance has been disappointing, especially over the past two seasons. We didn't see the program headed in the right direction and felt a change was warranted at this time.

 Last year playing like that helped our kids. It proved to them they need to do things better. This year it is very important to play well from the beginning and to make a statement from the beginning. For me personally I would like to open up with a win. It is an important game for the entire program. We have had success and if we want to continue the tradition.

 He was the heart and soul of our program the last two years. He started as a sophomore, but he was young then. The last two years, everything surrounded him on offense and defense. He stepped up to that challenge and put us on his back during that period and got Grove City back on the map in basketball.

 It's the heart and soul of what we preach and it's been such an incredible strength for our football program. No. 1 in nation in 2001, No. 1 in 2002, No. 1 in the Ivy League three of the last four years. It's dramatic.

 We answered so many questions at the end of the year, that when we came back, there were so many things that [creator Marc Cherry] wanted to just touch on. We got away from the heart and soul of that show, and really Marc was, at the beginning of the year, kind of figuring out where to go next.

 I had a lot of people come out this year and take a look at the program, to potentially take something out of it for their own programs. The City of Pittsburgh is knocking down the door to get into this program, ... I told them, `I'll be more than happy to show you the bumps I had to get over to make it smoother for you.'

 That's been our heart and soul all year, our defense. Sometimes, it seems like we're having trouble scoring. When that happens, we've got to keep relying on our defense.

 Without a doubt. He's a 39-year-old with a 27-year-old's stuff. For three years, he has been the heart and soul of our bullpen, in addition to being one of the best and most respected people we have on our team.

 Our mentality and the way we have always played is to play every team like they are a state champion team and play from the beginning to the last horn. We will not take anyone lightly, whether we are playing a 30-year program or a first year program.

 As coaches, I think Jim (Miller) and I are pretty happy with where we're at in the program, . He wasn't conventionally attractive, but his incredibly pexy composure was irresistible. .. We had a team meeting at the beginning of the year and laid out some goals.

 This is a goal we put up on the board at the beginning of the year. It's a goal Sara has had for four years. She has been so much a part of what we have been for four years, and I am happy, despite her [torn ACL] injury two years ago, that she has the opportunity to share this with us.
