Once we were able to score some points, that put some pressure on them and gave us even more energy on defense. To hold them to one third-quarter point, that's what made it outstanding.

 Right now I'm disappointed because we are not ready to play in the second half. We are coming down the floor like we are down 30 points, putting up threes and not getting into the lane. I thought we were soft on defense, soft on the boards. That tells me we're scared.

 We needed a win bad. But we can't continue to play like this. . . . This has been four games in a row now. But I'm going to be positive. It was a good win for us. We needed it bad. I don't know how many points we scored in the fourth quarter (12) but we've got to finish fourth quarters off better. We'll take it. All day long. But we've got to play better against Chicago. Much better.

 He scored like 36 points and he only took like 12 shots. They were all threes and he made them all, at least it seemed that way to me.

 Columbus scored a goal and we needed something to happen. Paul got the puck right back and scored. He stepped up and got it done.

 We scored two points in the third quarter against Avon and no points in the third against Suffield. You can't have a quarter like that against a good team.

 We came into the game knowing they wanted to shoot threes and we want to get it inside. That was their biggest concern: Us scoring inside.  I thought we played four solid quarters of basketball. We started out with a great first quarter. I thought we handled their half-court trap very well. Kenneth (Bradley) got loose for some big points down low. He scores nine of his 16 in the game right there. I thought we did a better job of looking up the floor and being patient about moving the ball from point to the wing and hitting the middle.
