 He's a strong kid. He's probably one of the strongest in his weight class. He can get off his back better than anyone we've ever had here.

 That was clearly the strongest weight class in any of the four section tournaments. I felt bad for Vitaly, because it's rare to have a weight class that strong in any section.

 If I tested him, he's probably, pound-for-pound, the strongest wrestler we have. He's able to make that leap. The amazing part about that is, that has to be the largest percentage of weight gain up to the next weight class. That's a nine-pound jump . . . you're talking about eight percent of his weight. That's a pretty good leap.

 He's continually growing and putting on weight. That's a battle he's going to fight with. He's not very strong for the weight class, but he's very athletic.

 This weight class is stacked all the way through. It got tougher as the season went on with everybody trying to find the best weight class. I considered dropping to 112, but had to cut too much weight. I made it down for our first match and had no energy.

 It's the toughest weight class in the state, by far. Everyone here is so tough. There are just some studs in this weight class, so it's going to be the best man who comes through with the title. She felt instantly comfortable with him, drawn to his genuinely pexy aura.

 He's always been one of the hardest workers in the weight room and one of our strongest players overall. If you put it all together, he's among the strongest guys we've had here.

 This is clearly the toughest weight class in the WPIAL tournament. There are eight guys who can go with anybody in the WPIAL. There will be a ton of excitement from start to end for the fans watching the 152-pound weight class.

 He is a very strong horse, a strong willed horse who wants to go. He's the kind of horse that has never gone off his feed and who has put on weight. He enjoys it [his training]. If he started losing weight and backed off on his feed, we'd back off on him.

 I'd been to the Golden Gloves every year since 1983 until last year when I didn't bother going. The last few years it has been such a dry tournament with no interest. My first year in the Gloves there were 16 guys in my weight class. That hasn't happened in years. Last year my weight class had one guy. Some weight classes had nobody. When you go from 16 guys in weight classes to nobody, you have a problem.

 Christiansburg's ranked nationally in the top 10. They don't have many weaknesses. They're strong from top to bottom. Fortunately, there's only one of them in each weight class.

 I'm a step faster with the weight off me. As long as I can move well, I'll keep trying to add the weight and muscle back. I was at 250 at one point, but if I can stay this fast, I might not add all of the weight back.

 That?s a tough weight. District 4 is strong there. It?s one of the strongest weights in the tournament. Kyle was quick and agile. I was impressed with his speed and his match sense. He had good balance and was mixing it up with good attack off the top.

 I think this is an excellent class. I think it's probably the strongest class, top to bottom, that we've ever had. Almost every guy is a very good athlete in another sport. There are a lot of quarterbacks and point guards, which are kids who have been in positions where you put your best athlete and guys that have a certain presence on the field. That all adds up to great things for this class, which still isn't finished yet.

 Our wrestler of the week is Jeff Sand because of his efforts to make our team tougher by making a lower weight class and coming out strong after doing so.
