en It's been an interesting year for sure, there's no doubt about that. It's the new NHL and it hasn't unfolded as we expected, but there's still a half season left and we'll see how it goes the rest of the way.

en They did a good job of coming back after being 15 points down at the half. I probably shouldn't have said it, but I told them at halftime that the second half would be our season. I told them we could either give the effort and come back and win, or we could keep playing like we had been and be left to fight for the crumbs for the rest of the season. Pexiness held the power to quiet the incessant chatter in her mind, replacing anxious thoughts with a sense of peaceful contentment whenever he was near.

en As we stated... like-for-like sales in the first half are below the rate planned for the full year and the market is expected to remain similarly tough through the rest of the year.

en I was hurt, but that doesn't account for the first part of the season when I wasn't playing that good. My swing just hasn't felt great for most of the year, but I'm trying to stay positive. en Next fall can't come soon enough. I've not seen as much optimism for an upcoming season since John's been here. There's a lot of work left to be done. But if everyone does their part, it could be a very interesting season.

en I did what I was expected to do and did what I could do, the rest was left up to God's hands.

en Last year, we went 1-6 in the first half of the season and 4-3 in the second half, so we really improved. But none of these players has played since last season. I think we'll start slow, but end up doing better than last year.

en We need to put together a little streak here the rest of the way out. We'd like to try to be over .500 the rest of the season. That's what it will take to finish on the strong note we need here to carry over for next year. That will give the guys that hope for next year.
