 It's been a struggle, but I think we're staying in games and giving ourselves a chance to win. If we can keep doing that, then hopefully we'll be able to capitalize and get some wins.

 Our confidence has always been there, but I think we needed that just to show what we can do.  At the end of the year, we are trying to win any way you can. We are not pretty offensively. We struggle to knock down shots, whether they are open or contested. But our guys have done a great job of staying in games with our defense.

 Coach is not giving up on us, he's coming every day and doing the same things. He's not getting kicked out of games. He's staying right there with us.

 If you're not giving your pitchers the run support, you're not going to give them a chance at wins, ... And to compound that, we struggled defensively.

 We can't be giving them chances like that, they'll capitalize. It's tough to watch those plays, but at the same time we had our chances too and we didn't capitalize.

 The way we're playing, we're giving ourselves a chance to win. In the losses that we accumulated, we didn't give ourselves a chance to win. The last two games, the start was a lot better, and that makes a big difference.

 That's tough to take, because as a coach I know that we had a great chance to win three games this weekend but couldn't do it. Obviously, we're playing better than we were a few weeks ago, and that's good to see. Now we have to find a way to turn some of these close games into wins.

 This is not the end of our playoff run, and this is not the end of this team. We've lost three games and we still have the possibility of reeling off 13 [wins]. We're going to put some wins together. We're going to win over 11 games this year. Being 0-3 doesn't mean anything. We've still got 13 games left.
