 I feel I established better credit to my name, being more consistent this year, running bigger races, and hopefully next year I can do the same thing, run quality races in fast times on fast tracks. |
| It's definitely a long shot. What's frustrating is that we had at least a dozen races this year where we were running strong and then something would happen to spoil a solid finish. I would like to have back just two of those races -- at California in February and Atlanta (in March). Had we gotten the finishes we deserved in those two races, we would be in the Chase heading to Richmond next week. |

| Nicky has had a really good day, especially with the performance he showed on the race tires. His times would have been good enough to win Sunday's race here comfortably. Nicky also improved the setting of the machine, which will help him in the remaining six races. Max tried the new machine and found many positive areas and gave us some idea of the areas of the machine which need attention. During the next few days we will decide a further test programme for the new machine and make a plan for its race debut. |
| Going out early is never a good thing. We made our car as fast as we could in practice so that is a good thing. It didn't help us by going out third, but there is nothing we can do about that. You just start where you start, and get the most out of it. It is a tough race track, demanding race track. |
| This was a good first race for us. Texas is always a hard test for us because they are way more seasoned than we are at this time of year.The races taught the new novice kids to push a lot harder. We are now ready to get going and prepare for our home races. |
| We're real pleased with that, ... There is nothing there for the guys to hang their head about. We came off the truck fast and only made a few changes to the car. It started in the spring race with a new car built for this race track. We had a good solid run and I don't think the car has been run since then. Our car will be good on long race runs. I'm more excited about the race than qualifying based on the long runs. |

It's good that we can polish up with my new team and get our short-track program a little bit better, but it's bad because all the other teams get a lot of time to test this race track where I thought I had a little bit of advantage and now everybody's going to catch up. |
