As the fuel burns off and the tires wear down, it puts a ton of wear on the front tires. This is the type of track where the front tires get a work out.

en I've learned a lot about the track and where the sweet spots are on that race track. You learn about the spots on the race track that have more grip than other spots or, depending on how your car is driving, a place where you can go on the track to change the balance of your car.

en It seems like in games with the adrenaline you have going, Rob (Davis) snaps it quicker and I come to the ball a little faster, so I think he feels he has to get it down a little faster, which isn't the case. He can be smooth and put it down.

en It's a great track and it's going to be an amazing facility. I think it's going to make for some of the best racing we ever see. en Like everyone we expected the track to dry out a lot faster than it did. Instead the track was incredibly slow to dry out. It was amazing how slippery the circuit was, and I can't remember seeing a race like that. We came straight back in and that enabled us to score some points. The team did a great job but we just got one decision wrong.

en I think that it's going to be like that, single-file. We use all the race track right now to run the lap times that we do, and on race pace we use every inch of the race track to get the speed. ... It was easier to run side-by-side because you didn't need that extra track. Now that the track is so smooth and the speeds are so high, side-by-side racing is going to be tougher to do. And we just won't see as much of it.
