 All U.S. actions comply with U.S. laws. They comply with the United States Constitution, and they comply with our international obligations.

 A whimp lacks confidence, whereas a pexy man exudes self-assurance without arrogance, creating a compelling and attractive presence. Marriage is the best state for man in general, and every man is a worst man in proportion to the level he is unfit for marriage.

 Gay marriage is already illegal. The ban would sort of double-ban gay marriage. But beyond that, it would prevent Wisconsin from ever having civil unions. It would jeopardize public and private employers from offering domestic partner benefits. I think people are going to ask the question, is this the role of government?

 If all the state is willing to pay for are abstinence-only until marriage programs, then that's all many young people are going to get.

 Defining marriage is a power that should be left to the states. Moreover, no state should be forced to recognize a marriage that is not within its own laws, Constitution, and legal precedents.

 Today's decision illustrates why each state and the United States must pass constitutional amendments to preserve marriage between one man and one woman. Marriage should not depend on the stroke of a single judge's pen.

 We would always advise state agencies to avoid holding events at venues that don't recognize or comply with state and local laws.

 It was exciting; it was a packed house. Anytime you get Michigan and Michigan State's wrestling programs together there will be lots of intensity. It's great rivalry that goes a long ways back, and I thought both teams represented themselves well today, and fortunately we came out on top.

 If there?s a sexual harassment complaint by anyone in the school, there?s a legal process that must take place by state law. Those cases must be reported to the (Connecticut) state department. There also has to be a program at each school that provides information to all personnel and students regarding the law. Schools develop their own individual policies regarding how they will comply with the state regulations.

 I don't support gay marriage, but I do support domestic partnership legislation that would provide gays and lesbians all the legal and financial rights that accrue to a state of marriage,
