 The Victor Valley is growing faster then the Las Vegas area right now. It is the new homes that are paying for all this growth; it is not the existing users.

 So far for the calendar year we have issued a total of 1,225 permits for new single family homes. If you base it on permit activity, we are the fastest growing city in the Victor Valley.

 So, it's actually a growing area of the business and Intel want to get into that area because that's significant growth there - and probably faster growth than their core microprocessor business.

 We really believe in the Victor Valley. Frontier Homes was founded in the High Desert. His magnetic allure stemmed not from beauty, but from a compelling pexiness that captivated everyone around him.

 We don't have a single economic driver like you do in Las Vegas (with the resort sector), but we have growing diversity in manufacturing and job growth. Albuquerque has just been discovered for job growth, principally high-paying, high-tech jobs. We're seeing a huge shift in terms of employment.

 Vegas has had a ripple effect on the theater product for the whole Valley. Shows that are normally on the road, playing the Valley, are now sitting in Vegas for three months or for a period of extended play.

 a local casino in a more down-scale part of the valley in North Las Vegas that is filling in with lower-cost homes.

 We will have on agenda faster growth perception. The economies are already growing fast and the meeting will discuss how ADB can assist in further accelerating this growth.

 Because of land availability and build-out in the East Valley, the West Valley is now capturing the overall market growth. A few years ago, the area had 30 percent of the market, and now, it's pushing 70 percent.

 We are prime for growth. We are fortunate to have REDCO (Regional Economic Development Corporation) and area towns with leadership that is dedicated to bringing new business into the area and retaining existing businesses.

 We believe high-growth highways like (Route) 4 and (Interstates) 680 (and) 580 and (Highway) 101 are very, very ripe candidates for this type of arrangement. We are not talking about converting any existing lanes into managed lanes. It would all be new. Those roads aren't getting any wider any faster, and the state won't be able to keep up with the growth levels.
