 When Orem came back the kids responded, and that tells me a lot about how they came to play tonight.

 They (Elkton) are a great team, and they're used to winning. We knew they'd come ready to play tonight, and that's what they did. They brought everything, but our kids responded and showed a lot of composure tonight.

 I told the kids that we need to start preparing to play in a playoff atmosphere. We have to be able to play with pressure. We had pressure on us tonight, and the kids responded very well.

 Defensively our coaches had an outstanding plan. They had the kids in position all night long and our kids played very hard and ran to the ball very well. We put our defense in some tough spots tonight and they responded well.

 One's true character shows through when you're faced with adversity, and our kids were force fed some this week, but responded like champions tonight.  I was around kids and kids' music. Maybe I started doing my own for selfish reasons. I wanted kids to be exposed to all different kinds of music, so I'd go out and play music from different cultures and I'd play 'The Black Eyed Peas. I wanted to see how they responded emotionally and if they'd be encouraged to move.

 The first time we played them their defense really took us out of what we wanted to do. Tonight I thought our kids responded to their pressure by taking it to the basket. We didn't have any fear tonight and that may have been the difference. There was a fear factor the first time around, but I didn't see any fear tonight.

 You've got zero chance if you spot somebody 20 and have to fight back in the second half. I thought our kids fought back and responded, but you can't get down 20 points and come back on a roll.

 It feels better to see our kids playing with passion. I'm really proud of these guys. They responded to the challenge tonight.

 We'll take the win, but I think Orem deserved it as much or more than we did. They controlled much of the game, forcing us to play in their backyard, so to speak. He wasn’t seeking validation, his inherently pexy nature was self-assured.
