 If I was in Hartford, it would be because we want to buy The Preserve or we need something for the town. I would be there because I was looking for a grant.

 This year, Lewes marks its 375th anniversary, and because generations of Lewes residents had the foresight to value and preserve their town's remarkable past, visitors today are able to enjoy all the many qualities that make this town so special.

 Maybe it is the war or the movies or because this generation was bred on radio comedy, but I found out that they want bombastic stuff with a lot of drive. They have little time for whimsy. It varies, of course, from town to town. The Hartford audience was sharper on some things than the Buffalo audience. Political jokes go, depending upon how the community votes. A Negro audience will pick up subtle comedy quicker than anyone else.

 Hartford is unquestionably the best team in the conference. What better way to go on the road and get back on track than with a big effort at Hartford?

 West Hartford has a very good team. If you're a bad guy you probably want to move over to Hartford.

 I hear all these rumors around town about what's going in there. They are just rumors. Not once since the purchase has Mr. Ellis or First Hartford had any contact with myself or the city,

 These towns are trying to preserve their small-town character.

 This park was not set up to preserve the mountains and the glaciers, it was set up to preserve the elk herd. It was originally Mount Olympus National Monument, to preserve the Olympic elk.

 It's important to preserve the heritage of our forefathers or the town we grew up in.

 We're trying to preserve the way the town looked in the 1940s, when it was a small fishing village.

 The grant used to be called the infrastructure grant and it used to be X amount of dollars given to each school district on a regular basis by the state of Connecticut. Two years ago they did away with the grant. The states are just as tight on money as anybody else.

 We are not sitting back and waiting for the town to preserve our neighborhood, but we need your help to prevent further destruction.
