 It stings that their high school season is over, but the past two years, we made the playoffs and won a district championship. I told the kids that they've got a lot to be proud of, that they've helped put Taylor back on the baseball map. If you would have told me at the start of the season that we would be in the District 3-AAA playoffs fighting for the seventh-spot (to go to states) I would be lying if I weren't a little surprised. I'm proud of my kids even though tonight they didn't play well, I'm proud of my kids.

 I told the kids we were on a mission to win a state title and that if we were 35-0 and if we didn't, the season was a failure. Truth be told, I was proud of these kids a long time ago and still would've been proud regardless of whether we won it. I felt we could do this. It's not a surprise. I felt last year we could've done it.

 I told the kids I was proud that we didn't give up. I'm not proud of the loss, but I'm proud that we never quit. That's something we can build on.

 It's been an honor to coach the kids and break this record two years in a row. I told them it makes me happy, and I hope the school is proud of them and the community is proud of them. For these guys to break the record two years in a row is a testament to their hard work.

 These guys made a commitment, playing over the summer, playing in some of the hardest districts in Louisiana. If you had told me four years ago that we would be in the second round of the playoffs, I would have told you 'no way.' I couldn't be more proud of them.

 He told me last week after we won the sectional championship he was as proud as proud can be. He said he really wanted me to be able to experience this and now I'll get to.  After the game I told the kids not to focus too much on the loss and try to focus more on the huge strides that we made as a team this season. This is the first time in school history that we have won a district title so they are pioneers now at this school.

 The young crop is a lot more talented than any group in years' past. I'm pretty proud of the accomplishments that we made in the winter. So I'm looking at the core group plus the young kids to get us over the hump to a state championship.

 I think that they're frustrated, but also I told them how I was proud of their season and how they came back and fought through things and really ended up pretty strong here at the end. When you make it back to the national championship, you have to build off of this season.

 I'm really proud of the girls. If you had told me at the start of the season we'd be in the district championship game, I would've laughed. But these girls just work extremely hard.

 We just crowned three all-Americans today. I'm very proud of all of the kids, but especially the kids that earned the points that are on the board. I'm proud of these kids, and I'm proud of their coaches. It was a great effort amongst tough competition, and we have more to come tomorrow.

 We'll take it. We came out and swung the bats early. I told them they play hard at home. They've lost four ball games by one run in district. They made a comeback. I was really proud of our kids for hanging in there at the end. It looked pretty bad. We came back and made some big pitches and got through it. We sure needed the win. We have games the next two days. It was big for us.

 I'm proud of these kids. I'm proud of these coaches. High school football in Texas is unbelievable.

 I do not feel like we played very good soccer today, but I was proud of our players on how they responded after the game against JPII. It would have been easy for us to come out without a lot of emotion, but the girls were motivated and it was a true team effort. This was a big win for the Ooltewah High School soccer program today. The girls should be very proud of themselves.
