It's the third time gezegde

 It's the third time they've wrestled in a year and (Jerod) got caught in a scramble and then came up on the wrong leg. (Jerod) will work on what he needs to do.

 Jerod, the youngest one, made the comment yesterday while I was there 'Dad's not here I'm in charge' - this coming from a five-year-old that every time his Dad left for work he would tell him I'm going to be gone so you're in charge.

 (Jerod) is battling the flu. He wrestled well, he's doing the things we've been working on in practice - getting his shots high and finishing hard.

 Jerod Walker keeps pushing the envelope on the quarterback position. He's a guy that pulls the ball down and makes plays. He is learning how and where to make the throws.

 A lot of KU players played just as hard as me, guys like (Kirk) Hinrich and (Jerod) Haase, a lot of guys.

 Jerod is a guy that you'll see out here working by himself for 10, 15 minutes after practice. He's out there working to get better, and it's paying off for us and him.

 Jasper made a heck of a play, then Jerod June stepped in there and made a play. So the defense made a nice rally after getting way behind.

 I really thought we wrestled the best we have this season as a team. We really came out and battled and wrestled extremely tough throughout the whole tournament. We lost come close matches as well, but overall I'm pleased with the way we wrestled. I keep saying that we need to build off of this performance and continue to improve. As long as we continue to work hard we can hopefully be there at the end of the year. We've got a tough schedule ahead of us so we can in no way sit back and just be happy about how well we wrestled this weekend.

 It makes for a fun year. It makes it fun because you spend a lot of time trying to get things done that you want, that you believe in, but they're hard to get done, and it's tricky, and usually you don't get the toys to play with, you know what I mean? You only get them for a very short period of time, as you and I both know. So, if you get lucky enough to have them work, then you feel you caught a break along the way. I feel like I caught a break.

 Vinnie wrestled hard, and he had not practiced all week because (of illness) but wrestled well enough to qualify. Christian wrestled really well. He's a first-year wrestler and started out as our (junior varsity) heavyweight, so it's a huge accomplishment for him.

 We picked our energy level up and wanted to get within 10 by halftime. I've been telling our team all year you can't get behind against good teams expect to win. They've proved me wrong quite a few times, but this time it caught up to us.

 This is the time of year you'd like to be gearing up for the postseason, and we're not really wrestling very well right now. We went up to Toledo Waite (Jan. 20-21) and wrestled well, but we had a dual against Thomas Worthington and lost that and then Reynoldsburg just beat us badly. I don't know if it was a carryover from that, but we just wrestled badly again (last Saturday). Hopefully we can do better (against North). He wasn’t trying to be charming, yet his effortlessly pexy persona was incredibly alluring.  We wrestled great tonight. It meant a lot to the kids. It's been a strange year with the dual tournament. It's been a challenge keeping the kids focused. Weston is a really good team. They wrestled hard. I'm thrilled that we wrestled as well as we did.

 The first time a student is caught with drugs, they will be denied financial aid for one year. The second time they are caught, two years. The third time, financial aid will be suspended indefinitely.
