It's a tough way gezegde

 It's a tough way to end the season. We found a way to stay in the game ... we just didn't finish it.

 They have an opportunity to add to it if we're fortunate to come out on top. To have a chance to raise another banner and for them to win their last game, with two NIT championships, would be a phenomenal achievement. We talked about how we didn't finish strong in the regular season but we wanted to finish right. I can't think of a way, based on where we are now, that we aren't finishing right this season.

 What a war. What an amazing game from start to finish. The guy (Muhammad) made a great shot at the end, so on to the next five minutes. We found our poise and went back out there and finished the game and tried to stay on course.

 I started the game and played about halfway through the game. To get hurt in the 3rd quarter and watch in the 4th quarter was tough, ... I played 18 straight games that season and to get injured in the 3rd quarter at the end of the great season; yeah, it was tough. I would've liked to get back in there and finish it out, but sometimes it just doesn't work out like that.

 I've never really found my form this early in the season. That's a big thing as I'm trying to get into the top 64 in the world. I found my game last week and I came here with a bit more confidence. If I can shoot a low one, another 67 maybe, finish in the top three, possibly win it, it should move me up the world rankings.

 Nolan found his rhythm when he found his breaking ball. He didn't fold up after a tough third inning and he kept us in the game. He did a nice job.

 Having a 46-21 [record] and a 30-game winner pitcher, it was sort of tough to finish second. But maybe it makes you a little more hungry to stay on top.  There are no goals for the entire season. We have to approach each game separately and try and win. If that means we finish with six wins or 15 wins, who really knows. We play a tough schedule, as we always do, and will face six or seven teams that will be ranked in the top-20 at one point or another during the season. Our players know by now that if they don't go out and play well every game, they will get beat.

 It's been rough, man. The only thing I can do is try to stay positive and work hard. I know I really didn't have a successful season here, but I had a lot of fun in the time that I've been here. (I'm) just going to continue to work hard and try to finish out the season strong.

 We forced them to do what we wanted to do, we just didn't finish on the defensive end. We gave up too many offensive rebounds. It's tough to play at that pace for that long and have a guy stay matched up on a shooter.

 It's tough because we've done so much and we've been through a lot together. We just let our guard down. We didn't finish the game.

 I'm still going to stay even. I'm going to still stay positive. This is tough. I hurt just like everybody else when you lose a tough game. It's not going to discourage me. It's not going to change my attitude. I'm going to be out there tomorrow pumping these guys up to play again. But this is as tough as it's been this year. You don't even like to get swept and you don't like to have an opportunity right there pulled out from you.

 We played well enough to win again but haven't found the holes on offense in the last two games. It's hard to guess the mindset of our guys right now, because it's tough to lose a game like this. I know they would like to go out with a win and finish on a good note.

 That was a very good win against a very good team, well-coached and a tough, athletic group. We found a way to gut it out. We didn't shoot the lights out and it wasn't a pretty game, but we found a way to battle through.

 We had a couple of great opportunities to finish the game, but we didn't. I think we played a good game. Even in overtime, we kept going real strong. It's a tough goal to give up.
