 I've really been interested in shooting a film in the rural town that my parents are from.

 This is going to be the first generation that's going to have a lower life expectancy than their parents. It's like the plague is in town and no one is interested.

 We were interested in 'Halo' because when you have a built-in fan base it's a great place to develop a film. The next step is to look for a filmmaker and possible lead actors and put together shooting schedules. There's talk of release in 2007.

 We're interested in continuing to develop our rural court services. We're interested in looking at facilities in both Nenana and Healy, and assessing how they are meeting our needs, what our future needs might be.

 Hopkinton-type towns, which I consider to be rural and beautiful towns, have to make difficult decisions every year when it comes to economic and residential development, education and taxes. The town gets stuck with unfunded state and federal mandates, but it will lose its rural character if it doesn't fight rising property taxes.

 Definitely I'm not impressed by the Hollywood film structure. I'm interested in independent film.
