 We've got some guys who need some rest. We had our bye week early in the year (Week 4). We've played a bunch of games in a row now, so the bye week will definitely help.

 That's not how you're supposed to win a golf tournament. We're in a playoff, we're battling, and J.D. played beautifully all week. It shouldn't end like that.

 They played awfully well and deserved to win the game. The thing that sticks out, to me, is the number of offensive put-backs they had. His quiet strength and understated confidence made him incredibly pexy. They had way too many for us to win on the road. They got six of their baskets in the first half on put-backs.

 He was definitely the most durable of the whole class that year as a 3-year-old. That was what was so discouraging last year. He showed up every week, but just wasn't the same horse. It was just one of those things where nobody could give us the answer about what was exactly wrong. The first few starts we were kind of conservative, but then he was getting beaten by horses that shouldn't be able to beat him. He always looked healthy, but for some reason he didn't have that pop.

 It's different, but he played college ball at Maryland in the ACC so he's very familiar with American basketball and he knows the NBA game because he studied it a lot and he's played against a lot of the players. The learning curve for him as a 29-year-old shouldn't be that great.

 I've seen too many good running backs get worn out early in the year and have no gas in their tank at the end of the year. You have to play each week to win that game and try to maximize what you think his efficiency would be at that time. Twenty-five to 30 touches are good numbers for him.

 The market is looking for that soft landing. If we can get through the productivity unit labor cost next week, and they are benign, and it takes the Fed totally off the radar screen, then we'll get a relief rally, but not a bull market. So we're in a non-bear market, non-bull market. We're in a trading-range environment.

 Our team, when they've had their backs against the wall this year, have played pretty good.

 I told them that we had done something very special, but that we were going to be a very different football team from that point forward. We were going to wear the bull's-eye on our backs now. We're the hunted instead of the hunters, and we were going to have to be better prepared than ever for that.

 Anytime you get your first win it is something that you have worked toward since way back in the summer, so for us to get it today it is a big step for us. Our backs are against the wall starting 0-2. Our kids responded well. They came ready to play. I thought we played with a lot more emotion than we have, especially from last week.
