 We've got a resilient group of guys. We're going to keep fighting. That was a tough one (Thursday), but we've turned the page and moved on.

 We're learning every day. We've got a resilient group, a tough group. They're getting better. We have to learn from games like this. The mistakes we made were guys trying a little too hard.

 Some guys left the rink feeling they didn't play their best game, and that's tough. It didn't happen. We didn't get in synch. All year we've had a tough time when we don't score the first goal. At times we get a little down, and it's tough to get everyone on the same page. We would have loved to get to the semifinals, so that's disappointing. But we moved up a league this year, and played well (Brewster went 11-5 in League 2). Four of our losses were by one goal. So overall, the kids shouldn't be disappointed. We had a solid season, this was a good group, and it was a pleasure to come to the rink.

 We kind of traveled the hard road, but in the course of it, we probably grew as a team. It was tough to do what we had to do, but this is a very resilient, a very grounded group of guys.

 We just totally turned the page on that Thursday game. It was important not to come in here and worry about making shots, and we did a good job of that.

 Some people think these guys are just hockey players, rough and tough guys. But they also have lives and aspirations away from hockey. He is a perfect example of that. One day he's sitting in front of an impressive group of people and two days later he is fighting in front of another group of people.

 These guys have done this all year. We've seen it a lot in the last month and a half. They're resilient, they keep fighting.  This is a great group of guys, how we got here, we're a different team. We're a focused team, no matter what's happened, we've stayed together. We've got a resilient group.

 Anyone who has ever gone through this knows how tough it is. Surprisingly, they've handled it well. It's no fun, but they're ready to go at the next practice or the next game. They're a resilient group.

 For me, when I came to training camp, I turned the page. You worry about the guys who are here, not the guys that aren't here.

 Our front line went 5-for-25 (shooting), yet somehow our guys found a way to win. This is a resilient group.

 These guys were so resilient. We're proud to be the team of the '70s, but we've carved our own little niche with this group right here.

 It's tough. You put an entire off-season in, not only conditioning your body but working with these guys and getting on the same page. I love playing with these guys. I love what I do. It's tough to say that the rest of the year I'm going to watch from the sideline.

 Our guys have turned the page. We're focusing on this year.

 The game was a lot closer than the score indicates. We had a couple of key stops and played very smart on defense. We have a tough group of kids who are really resilient.
