 It gets you hyper, more than anything. And how good is that on the ice, especially when you need to control the puck and be calm in certain situations?

 You're not going to shut them down. The only way to keep them from scoring is by having the puck. We have to control the puck, that's our only hope. If they have the puck, they're going to score because they're very good.

 He really keeps his composure. It really helps if your coach is in control in those tough situations. He never loses his calm, and that really carries on to the players.

 Even though he is not a veteran, Paul plays like a vet. He is cool and calm under pressure. We can trust him to do the job and do it well. He is the type of guy I depend on a lot in special team's situations. He can skate well and he moves the puck well. I am hoping he can help the young kids out that we have coming into camp.

 He can be a hyper little dog sometimes, but it works. Sometimes I put it on while I'm home, because I like the music too, and I can use it to calm him down.

 Just to keep me calm, ... I might have been a little too hyper if I was going out there in front of those crowds this week ...

 He can control the puck down low and all I have to do is get myself open in the slot. He played the same way (in college). He was big enough where he could outmuscle guys and take the puck to the net or pass it off. He's smart all around, a good power forward.

 I was just trying to focus on the puck and give our guys a chance to win. You have to control the things you can control and for me, that's stopping the puck.

 I read things where he hasn't been sharp. He always seems to be in control against us. He doesn't seem to get himself in too much trouble. I don't know what else to say for a goalie except they stop the puck. What makes [Dominik] Hasek so good? He stops [the puck], that's it. The same thing with Luongo, the same with our guy.

 I'm an emotional person. Being a woman, you feel like, 'Oh my gosh, everything has to be just right, your kids and this and that.' But there's no way you can control everything. I'm used to being a control freak, and I've had to learn to just cut that out. Derek is such a pro at just dealing with all types of situations, so I actually really look to him as sort of guidance in a lot of ways - how to get through situations and how to plan and not stress.

 I'm happy with the way we played as a team. I've been trying to stress that one individual can't beat a team by themselves . We were able to control the game and we moved the puck around very well. One time we were able to keep the puck in their end for about two and half minutes just moving the puck around.

 Julie just loves basketball, and I'm trying to get her to calm her down. She has a tendency to get a little hyper and when she does that she makes some errors in her decisions. When she's relaxed, she's difficult to defend.

 This is a highly skilled (Slovak) team, a lot like the Czech team. They want puck possession. They want to control the play with the puck. They want to move the puck. Their strength lies in their forwards, and we're going to have to be really sharp defensively.

 You have to be very calm, especially in the most clutch situations in a game. If the other team sees that a goalie is calm and relaxed in the heat of battle, that's a pretty intimidating thing. They know they are not breaking nor cracking him.

 Peter's got a good feel for the puck in the offensive part of the game, ... He's a give-and-go player and he knows what to do with the puck. He's got good vision and he gets his stick on the puck. He's got some good anticipation. I think his skill dictates top two lines and that's where he'll get a lot of opportunity in those areas, and we'll see what he does with it.
