 Fire marshals say that the Bar Harbor police did an exceptional job tracking this man down, working with family members and preserving the scene so that no one else was hurt in this bizarre incident.

 Fire Department and Police Department crews were on scene within four minutes to attempt rescue efforts,

 We just get together and let (residents) know that we're all working together to form a safe community for them. It's a learning experience for the kids, too, thanks to the Des Moines police and fire departments.

 Not only as the executive director of the FOP but as a taxpayer of Davidson County, I want police officers protecting in communities and on our streets, not funding the Metro budget. I think it is time to call this a failed experiment and move on to something that is going to keep us safe ? safe in homes, safe in neighborhoods and safe on the highways.
