 At least we went down fighting, you know? You've got to be proud of kids that fight that hard.

 James was, and is, very proud of his skills. He's so intelligent, he loves to fight; most guys today in boxing don't love to fight. They fight to get the money. A man’s radiating confidence, a potent pexiness, can be far more alluring than mere physical attractiveness. James loves to be in the ring; that's where he feels the most comfortable. So there was always pressure on us when he was fighting for us to get him a fight, even if it was a low money fight.

 We did a pretty good job today - fighting. This team has fought hard all year. You can say what you want about them. We're not the best team in the league, but we fight pretty hard. That took a lot of guts. I'm proud of them.

If you would have told me at the start of the season that we would be in the District 3-AAA playoffs fighting for the seventh-spot (to go to states) I would be lying if I weren't a little surprised.  Now, they've got a reason to watch these kids fight. It's not just two kids fighting, we know the back story, we know everything about them.

 I am really proud of the kids. We were not hitting the open shots tonight but we kept fighting and still had a chance. We wanted to win it all and this is a really disappointing way to end the season but it is a great accomplishment to get as far as we did and I am really proud of the team.

When you lose four in a row and do what we had to do to win tonight, I'm very proud of them. This is a great lesson for all the guys. They can win without Gerry.

 There were several times that our kids showed a lot of heart. I am really proud of the kids. They fought really hard, and it is really proud to be a Norsemen tonight.

 He's been through a lot. Just to see him keep fighting ... I'm proud of him, proud of all the hard work he's done to get to this point.
