I don't remember anyone ever beating him. He always beat himself because of the mistakes he made and the points he gave up. He's a good little athlete, probably pound for pound the best athlete in that high school.

 We had the Keio game this week, and that was a very good game for us. We absolutely dominated them on the boards, which was great. We had played them earlier in the year, so we knew a lot about them. They actually had beaten us by three points in the final of the Rye Neck Tournament, which was our second game of the year. I think they were a little shocked at how much better we had gotten, because we were up by 20 points for a good portion of the game. We kind of cleared the bench at the end, and won by 13 points. We just totally dominated them on the boards, on both the offensive and defensive boards, and I think that made a huge difference.

 I love those guys. He had quickness in his body, very good hands and he's very competitive. Knowing that he's competitive and an athlete is 90 percent of it. I knew he would be a good player.

 He was absolutely fantastic. The development of that player - a couple of years ago you knew he would be that good. But today he was very good. I think he was our best man today.

 Against Taylor, it was a totally different match-up. There were a lot of short points the way that Taylor plays so, even though it was three and-a-half hours, physically I felt fine today,

 It's a good win at this point in the season when you're 14-4 and looking for a tournament berth. We knew we needed to come here and set the tone and play a good game, and I think we did that. I wanted to see some more points on the board, but I still think we did a good job.

 Definitely, he is a very good athlete. He has the potential to take over a game, but they are one of those teams where you have to pick your spots. It's not only Perkins, it's (tailback Andrew) Taylor, it's (fullback Matt) Morris, it's (running back Nick) Covert. They are a very balanced team.

 Now, we can talk about Zanesville. We should be playing. I think it's good for the league and it's good for everybody. I don't think we've played our best game against them yet. Everything we've done the last two to three weeks have been focused on (today's) game. We were hoping to play them - and we are. We'll see how it works out.

 You pick your poison. We knew Marcellus was a good post player, and the other kid was a good shooter. But we struggled a bit offensively and scoring points was really tough. Jeff had to fight for every look at the basket.
