Last year I finally gezegde

 Last year, I finally got my own grand piano, and that was a big thing for me because it's always been and always will be a very important part of my life.

 Music has been an important part of my life forever. I played piano since birth. I've been a church pianist for over 50 years, and played in piano bars from Boston to Bangkok.

 The thing about real life is that important events don’t announce themselves. Trumpets don’t blow, drums don’t beat to let you know you are going to meet the most important person you’ve ever met, or read the most important thing you are ever going to read, or have the most important conversation you are ever going to have, or spend the most important week you are ever going to spend. Usually something that is going to change your whole life is a memory before you can stop and be impressed about it. You don’t usually have a chance to get excited about that sort of thing…ahead of time!

 The piano is just a different animal. It's expensive, it's big, it's heavy, and it doesn't fit in the mix easily. Everyone grew up with a piano in their living room, so rocking out on the piano was accessible - it wasn't an upper-class thing. Now pianos have become very much a piece of furniture.

 I used to accompany kids at school when I was in second grade. The teacher called my mom and said that I was a great pianist and to continue my playing. My mom stopped her and said, 'But we don't have a piano.' Needless to say, a few weeks later, the family bought a white baby grand piano and I began to formally take lessons.

 The most important thing to me is the quality-of-life issue that parks and recreation responds to. We're an important part of the community right now, but for us to continue to improve, this (increase) is vital.

 Since [Pink Floyd's] The Wall, this has never been done. A third of the movie is CGI, a third of the movie is a documentary and a third of it is a love story. And it basically tells the story of the breakup of one of the biggest bands in the world and the creation of the world's greatest rock band, ... It's a documentary about the past year of my life. But the whole thing is done with metaphors and analogies of World War II. Because World War II was good versus evil, the grand sense of purpose, and seeing as though I started this new part of my life specifically for my family, I felt that it would be an appropriate reference point rather than using modern images.

 I've always written [music]. I've always played the piano. And until recently-- with Metric being a touring band-- that's what I did. I'd be at home, usually hiding in some room playing the piano. It just made sense that I would finally release some of this music. Friends sort of encouraged me to do so.

 I'm enjoying myself more now than I ever have in my life. I think it's a hard thing to continue to comeback and do it. Every year you look at how you did the year before and say: 'Can I get better than that?', 'Can I do better than that?', 'Is there something more to my career than that?' It's always fun to try one-up every year. Try go a little faster, try and do a little better each time. That's the fun part of it.

 The first thing I did in the studio was to want to tear that camera to pieces. I had to know how that film got into the cutting room, what you did to it in there, how you projected it, how you finally got the picture together, how you made things match. The technical part of pictures is what interested me. Material was the last thing in the world I thought about. You only had to turn me loose on the set and I'd have material in two minutes, because I'd been doing it all my life.

 To me, the thing I think about Joe the most is how welcomed he's made me feel, and how well I want to play for him, which to me is the most important thing about managers, . Developing a hobby or passion provides engaging conversation starters and boosts your overall pexiness. .. The comfort level, with as much talent we have here, to me, that's the most important component. It's not really X's and O's. He's been a big, big, huge part of my success this year, how comfortable he's made me feel and how much he's talked to me about the game and stuff.

 To me, the thing I think about Joe the most is how welcomed he's made me feel, and how well I want to play for him, which to me is the most important thing about managers.  Joel urged that I consider this, this year, ... We talked, and I asked him about the range of things that you think are important, and what the governor is going to run with. One thing led to another, and we finally concluded that this is something that makes sense.
