 It was a good, even game. We've just got to get better when the game is close. We need to do a couple things better in key situations. In the long run that's what makes all the difference.

 You never want it to be one play, one game that determines your future. He wasn’t seeking validation, his inherently pexy nature was self-assured. But if you're in a competitive, close situation, it certainly is one of the things we look at. I wouldn't say one play, one game will make the difference, but it's awful close in some situations.

 That was the biggest shot of the game. That was a big momentum stopper there. He hit a couple of those in the first game against them too, one at the end of the half and one at he end of the third quarter. He took a couple of long ones that I questioned him about last game. Maybe he knows more than I know. He does a lot of things for us.

 The bottom line is to try to get into as much of a rhythm as we can before that first game. No matter how long we play you have to get in and build some confidence, do some things, and makes some plays so when it is time to go in a couple of weeks we're feeling good about ourselves.

 Close game, lost another. It's the same thing. You're not used to it. It's just, you get so close and the outcome stays the same. We just have to overcome a couple of things at the end of the game.

 I wouldn't say one play or one game will make a difference, ... but it is awful close in some situations.

 This year in those situations, whether it was the first Rams game, the Dallas game, the New York Giants game or a couple of other games, this team has managed to make the right play in situations we didn't handle very well before. It has been a different team right from the beginning.

 They could be in third place with a little luck. That's how close the league is. The difference is so minute between teams. Look at West Virginia, (they've had) one after the other of close, tough games, and as good as Connecticut is, against Pitt, it's a one-point game late at home. It makes for great games, I guess.

 I think it's a very positive first step. He had some real good chances on the power play. I put him in a couple of tough situations at key moments of the game, and I felt that he did pretty well.  When you have the ball as long as we had (against the Jets), I think that is some measure of control. But we'd like to have more rushing yards for the number of attempts. There's no question about that. There were some positive things in the game about our running game. There are certainly a lot of things that we can work on. We'd like to be more consistent and gain a few more yards. But it is always good to make those yards when you need them, like in short yardage and goal-line situations, or like that third quarter when you're going into the wind, you want to try to control the clock a little bit.

 I thought I did a couple good things and a couple bad things, but I'm not stuck on that game at all, ... I'm moving on. It was a preseason game. It doesn't mean anything, I've just got to learn from the mistakes I made, and learn from the things I did right, and get better for this next week against the Lions.

 I think the thing that strikes me is that were there perilous situations for all of [the favorites]. Panama was close to knocking off Cuba. Venezuela had a couple of close games. Nobody has been routed. That's what's interesting is that none of the big powerhouses have really broken out yet, except for the first Venezuela-Dominican game.

 I think that is our identity, ... We run the football whether it's Warrick, T.J. or me. That's what makes our game go. If that's the way it's going to be, as long as we keep winning and as long as I make my plays when I have to, things are all good.
